I frequently have opinions on things I know too little about. "From cradle to cradle I shall say many stupid things"

Wow, the moon is bright tonight! Apparently, it won't be this bright again until my, hypothetical, kids are adults.

As good as the camera is, it really gives a strong green hue in some conditions.

Just don't let too many people know, just in case. Unless you are also prepared for that πŸ‘€

I spent 2 months, on and off, looking for info on getting svn running on Unraid.

I came across SCM Manager and it took one night to get it set up behind a reverse proxy. That saved me a lot of time.

Im sticking with Gitea for git, however, as it provides a nice web interface.

Naw, us lower Ontarians have issues annunciating our T's and D's πŸ˜†

Well, fortune favors the prepared.

Animal behavior suggests they have concepts of property, so I dont think anyone invented it. Cats mark their territory, squirrels and birds defend their nests, some birds collect objects to decorate, and fish defend their territory.

What we invented were "rights" and the "systems" to protect those "rights," so we dont have to personally defend our property so frequently.

Its being fairly hoarded.

Tdarr Flow (alpha) has released along with TS support! I like where things are headed.

Wait, there are trending lists now? Wow, things change quickly when you aren't watching.

Amethysts isn't a good way to moderate, but others have definitely done worse. Report buttons shouldn't exist here. It should be client controlled and tag based or relay moderated.

Yes, I was confused at first when I saw some reposts talking about excessive moderation, and yours was hidden. Most of your posts are not moderation worth, imo, especially since you have started to self censor.

I have to wonder how hard it is to add a user controlled tag system for blocking. Users could add their own in, the client could parse for new options while browsing, and users change them in the settings. It's definitely abusable, but that's why npub blocking already exists...

I appreciate Amethysts method. It doesn't block anyone and only has a content warning.

It does look account wide, though, instead of using a hashtag to determine content, which would definitely drop engagement.

Dont forget the the international variants IMF, BIS, WEF, UN, and EU. All these organizations have outlived their usefulness, become destructive, or are inherently Fascist in nature. There are many more, but this should be a good start.

Good luck abolishing them, though. Its probably easier to convince people they are obsolete than to convince them they are detrimental.
