So like a facebook login script that people embed on their sites and now I can log in with Amber? π€π

Is this a proposal for a new cryptocurrency or will balances need to be burned or locked to exist as CSV coins (making this a sidechain right?)
Just like you should learn basic things like: "don't carry bars of gold around in public in dangerous neighborhoods and expect not to get robbed", you will need to learn basic skills around how to use and handle bitcoin with self custody.
If you don't, then you can only ever hold paper bitcoin which could be disasterous for you. Don't understand what paper Bitcoin is? Maybe that's the first thing you should study about bitcoin. π
WoT you on about mate? In England, WoT don't stand for nutt'in, WoT relay is just a question... like:
WoT relay?
All I can say is - thank god he didn't say "the internet told me so"...
Well, maybe in the US, the TV may be just as bad as the internet. π
How I get zapped for a random post I made while just demo-ing how to "upload a picture on nostr" at a bitcoin meetup and clearly labelled it "testing" is... crazy π€·ββοΈ
Appreciate you all π«Ά.
#bitcoin. Learn it today! https://video.nostr.build/8d54d1f2e5bf5d49ca2448092500d79fb987214fe05be951108346fc4796ac10.mp4
One piece of context to add... when was this conversation had in that timeline?
Only if the relay is getting reply bot spam directly to their relays.
Otherwise they could observe false positives.
Clearly a stunt to highlight the surveillance that people consent to without thought. Google does the exact same thing...
"Since we've been tracking your whereabouts, here is a timeline feature that we can now offer so you can see a record of your daily activities."
Nostr as a protocol just requires you to post a link to a video, many clients will then see that and present an embedded video player. It is all very rudamentary.
Many clients then allow you to upload files to some nostr friendly servers like nostr.build or void.cat (as two examples). Primal have their own servers to host your files.
These servers do often have size limits and maybe even file type limits.
They sometimes provide a paid option for people who wish to upload larger content, but here's the deal:
If you can upload the video to any server and link to it, then you can post your video on #Nostr. Capiche?
Under 100 blocks in the backlog πππ€
We all know that toothpaste isn't $10, how many boxes of condoms did that include? π
8 hrs as per recommendations... And then a whole carton of orange juice.

So this person is asking for an open-source alternative to Spotify.
Am I doing this right?

Calling it now... they want open source, but they also want the library on spotify.
Maybe a torrent based app is better suited. Like popcorn for movies.
What about allowing only known VPN IPs? Opposite of what other companies do.
