When you're expecting a 14 way zap split but actually, nostr:nprofile1qqs9pk20ctv9srrg9vr354p03v0rrgsqkpggh2u45va77zz4mu5p6ccpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgkwaehxw309a5xjum59ehx7um5wghxcctwvshszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7qrxnfk is the single custodian for all of them.
Cyber attacks against #Nostr are a good thing. Cyber attacks against X are a distraction.
Bitcoin too. Everyone has their own keys, they create their own transactions and they broadcast it to any number of bitcoin nodes online (or otherwise -- e.g. radio, satellite, bluetooth.)
Lightning not the same unfortunately. You rely on a particular node and the interactivity of a particular party. Lightning in general works, just like saying "banking works, but PayPal is down". At best, the unilateral exit makes it "still bitcoin".
But still, this is power: having a money that is robust and NOT dependent on a single point of failure. Not only does it not rely on a particular form of infrastructure, but it also is not founded on a changeable law, it is not tethered to a country, it just is.
nostr:npub1f4uyypghstsd8l4sxng4ptwzk6awfm3mf9ux0yallfrgkm6mj6es50r407is it true? Trump called for Congress to abolish income tax? Or is it just tweets right now.
On #Nostr, you own your identity, your identity does not own you.

Hmm, I've felt much more of a downtrend with alcholohol during and after covid.
Is that an incomplete post? I don't think I got the full picture.
Most of "their" users.
They are targeting newbies who don't want to think.
How is Primal encouraging users to handle their keys unsafely.
Keep in mind that most people won't really be jumping between clients.
But if that is your point, I get it.
This is technically true, but practically it is feasible.
I don't think there is a popular client that helps you do this, but you would need to find relays that you can trust that require you to authenticate and that don't just spread your posts to anyone.
If it is only delivered to "your friends" (based on a list or your follower list), this limits the risk already.
If it never gets broadcast to other relays, this limits the risk.
Then it only requires using a type of note that supports expiry dates.
Not technically guaranteed, but good enough for most people.
Good enough reason, but honestly the only way to know your historical posts will remain is to run a nostr relay as a local archive.
There is no guarantee that historical posts on nostr will persist unless you persist them.
There is just a low chance of getting censored on Nostr due to its distributed nature.
Different things. #themoreyouknow.
Dark coffee.
Why?
Start anew on nostr. No one cares about historical posts.
Could say the same about amber.
Aren't both OSS?

Is that a real tweet? I can barely read it... Is he a bitcoin maxi for real now?
A much harder prospect for most.
Or better yet, he was stealing the van.
