Since I began my journey in Nostr, I have met an amazing group of people, a number of them in person. I have been planning for this moment for a long time.

With simplicity and functionality in mind, I began with the timeless classic Casio dive watch model I wanted since I was a kid.

This was THE watch to have in the 1990s, when my friends and I rode our bikes to the arcade to play Mortal Kombat with our friends. When James Bond still wore a Rolex.

This was a time before cell phones, before social media, before AI-generated music. Your watch told you the time, not how many calories you burned on your way to the neighborhood cookout.

This watch has no alarms, no digital display, and no excess complications which could distract you from living your real life. There is no heart rate monitor on this watch, no WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity, no software to update, no reminder to stand up if you’re sitting down.

I designed the dial, which features Bitcoin logos at every hour, the Nostr ostrich at twelve o’clock, the word NOSTR at three o’clock, and NOTES and OTHER STUFF TRANSMITTED BY RELAYS at six o’clock.

A friend of mine engraves the dials for me, and I assemble the watch myself.

It has a 44mm stainless steel case, is water resistant to 200 meters, has a screw-down locking crown, a 120-click unidirectional rotating bezel, and a screwdown caseback.

Lug width is 22mm, which can accommodate a variety of straps. The watch comes with a standard 22mm silicone strap, which can be easily changed.

I lightly sand the caseback and engrave the block height when it was completed. Then I package it up with a handwritten note signed by me and send it to you.

The battery will last a couple years, after which it’s easy to get changed. There are no proprietary parts. You can change the battery yourself with one tool if you want.

The watch is 200k sats plus shipping.

I also offer a bespoke watch dial design service where I create custom dial artwork to your specifications and have the artwork engraved. In this case, your watch artwork will be used only for your watch.

This one-on-one design collaboration between myself and the customer is available for an additional 200k sats.
