That one time I almost drowned in Rockaway beach, NYC. Waves were 4 ft and a hurricane Hermine did a loop in the Atlantic. When it came towards shore it sent waves up to 15ft and it built up in less than an hour. Every set I paddled over was bigger and bigger. I washed up ashore with no board and a friendly reminder to never go back to an office and enjoy life to the fullest. We’re here briefly…
