Meat popsicle.

The freedoms protected by #Nostr gives me something to die for.

Something to work on.

Something to live for.

I mean built in to the app, in the background, as a core function of the underlying architecture.

Distributed computer p2p.

I see nip 29 which is group chats right?

Can you explain what's happening?

Welcome all the newbies to Nostr.

Make sure you introduce yourself and post on #introduction.

Could a Nostr relay run decentralized on everyone's phone?

What do you think of this 👇 for a #Nostr sticker?

Alright, imagine you're at a huge playground where every kid can talk to each other, but instead of shouting across the playground, you use magical walkie-talkies. Here's how #Nostr works in this playground:

Your Walkie-Talkie (Keys): When you come to the playground, you get a special walkie-talkie. This walkie-talkie has two parts:

The Speaker (Public Key): This is how everyone knows it's you talking. They can hear what you say, but they can't use your walkie-talkie to talk.

The Secret Button (Private Key): Only you know how to press this button to make the walkie-talkie work. This ensures that when you talk, everyone knows it's really you.

The Message Balloons (Relays): Instead of your voice going directly to your friends, you send your messages into balloons (relays). These balloons float around the playground, and anyone can grab them to hear your message.

Playing the Game (Clients): Different games or toys in the playground are like different apps or "clients" in Nostr. Some might be for drawing, others for sharing secrets, or playing tag. You choose which game to play, but you always use your walkie-talkie.

Sending Gifts (#Zaps): Imagine if you could send candy through your walkie-talkie. In Nostr, you can send "Zaps" which are like giving someone a thumbs up or a little gift (Bitcoin) instantly, using the Lightning Network, which is like a super-fast candy delivery service.

No Playground Monitor (Decentralization): There's no single playground monitor who can tell you to stop talking or playing. If one game gets boring or if someone doesn't like how one group is playing, they can just move to another game or start their own with their rules, but still use their same walkie-talkie.

Your Playground Identity: Your identity (your public key) is the same no matter which game you play. If you don't like how one game is going, you can take your identity and play somewhere else without losing your friends or your ability to chat.

So, Nostr is like a playground where you can play different games, talk freely, send gifts, and no one can take away your special walkie-talkie or tell you that you can't play. And if you ever get tired of one game, you just hop over to another, but you're always you, with your unique walkie-talkie.https://m.primal.net/KSKJ.webp

Yeah I'm never selling my BTC idgaf what they try and pull.

Indeed.

Illegal in terms of geographical nation states but to have an anti censorship platform we have to accept the good with the bad.

What are the rules we choose to live by?

IN-N-OUT is the best.

Prove me wrong.
