Gonna be interesting to do #bitcoin interplanetary. Low quality high latency networking puts a kink in the works.

Could you mine on the moon? 1.25 seconds from earth to the moon at the speed of light. Probably doable. Lower loss solar power (no atmosphere) can probably make that up.

Could you mine on Mars? 3 minutes lag best case scenario. Longer when orbits have earth and mars farther apart. That is going to lead to a lot of chain splits and orphan blocks.

Likely each planet runs it's own #bitcoin chain instead of dealing with the lag issues.

Really wish that clicking the back button on damus took you to the previous page instead of all the way back to your home feed. Makes it hard reading the #[0]​ , clicking the tagged notes, and then being sent back to the feed where i have to scroll through just to find the post again.

I was asked by the man who runs coinpages.com, a website similar to btcmap.org, what he could tell others in my industry why I've chosen to accept bitcoin as payment, with 10% discount, and why I switched off PayPal. Why did I do it?
