Hey y'all 👋 Happy Hump Day to ya.

What a miserable way to start #myday. Dark n gloomy, cloudy and wet, and raing pretty heavily. ⛈️

The saddest part, though, is that it's expected to last this way all day #today and continue getting worse through the coming weekend. 🫤

Up north ya get your fridged cold n snow. Here we will get it as rain and well... colder. They are even saying we may bottom out with night temperatures striking the mid-20s. 😳

I'm sure the garden peas popping up and presenting themselves are not gonna be pleased by that. 😏

Ah, well. A blanky at night to offer some warmth and protection for the little babies should help. 🤞

Good morning, y'all, and happy #TGIF Friday. 🖐 I'm not sure that applies to me, though. It seems like I have been "celebrating" #today all week with a string of #Slackerday and sofa surfing #SofaSunday's. I should sure be well rested and in great shape to face #myday and #joinin on whatever misadventures this Friday brings.

If not, there is always tomorrow and Sunday's crashing on the comfy couch to look forward to. 👍😀

It's looking to be another lovely sunny day #today. Just 35deg F ( 2C) right now with the sun breaking brightly over the horizon and temperatures promising to head up near 70deg #today. So, as I sit here n sip away on my coffee, I'm hoping to be able to get outside and enjoy it. 😊

Only time, more coffee, and Heather hollering know for sure.

A slow n sluggish Sofa Sunday so far #today. Just as Sofa Sunday should. 👍

French Toast and sausage paddies for our special hearty Sunday breakfast. 😜 And coffee, of course ☕️ 😊

Now, in full slothful couch potato-ing mode on my comfy couch with no plans other than continuing on course. A nap 🥱 perhaps and maybe more "Picard" viewing later this afternoon. 🖖

But for now, just stretching out on the comfy couch, under the open window, breathing the fresh air while the heat remains tolerable and the breeze remains cool. 😊

Yup. With all this hot weather, I've had a lot of practice time to perfect my couch potato-ing and sofa surfing. 👍

So could probably proclaim myself as a professional potato plopper at this point! 😁

Got out between storms to do a little foraging through the garden.

I'm happy to say the squash is doing good n got a few little ones growing out there. The rabbits took care of the kale for us, though eating it down to little stubs. 😏 Ah, well.. the furry little fellows have to eat too... 😁

Not terribly hot #today. Seems all this rain is keeping it in the low 80s, but boy, is it sticky, sweaty, and WET out there. Now that I've got this great harvest, gonna stay inside in the dry, cooler indoor "weather"... 👍😂

Then, I will most likely spend the rest of #myday recovering from it all on my comfy couch. ☺️

Just leftovers foraged from the fridge for dinner tonight. Fine by me. The wife is on her own for that, though... 😊

Well, back to my Saturday of slacking. Hope y'all are having a great and restful Slackerday. If not, well... that on you! 😆

Well, it's been a very unproductive day #today. But then, being Slackerday and all, I guess that's the whole purpose, right?

Have spent #myday snacking too much , probably imbibing too much🥂 and certainly spending too much time chilling out on my comfy couch while listening to lovely Celtic tunes🎵 and snoozing off n on throughout my afternoon. 🥱

Did get out to hunt for a nice tomato sandwich in the wild. But only was able to collect one, not really ripe enough, tomato. But Hey, the craving called n I obeyed! So, I got a semi ripe, kinda almost red tomato on the shelf to rippen up n get devoured in the near future. 🤔

Did get my orders for tomorrow's hearty Sunday breakfast. French toast smothered in a hearty portion of Maple syrup!! Will throw in the usual breakfast sausage paddies and a bit of mixed fruit for the healthy part.

The bowls are well worth it. Got mine over a decade ago and it's still popping strong!! No muss, no fuss. Just pour in the carn n pop. Then wipe it out nice n clean, n it's ready for the next popcorn cravings. 👍😋

Well y'all, either the weather people lied or the weather gods overhead and intervened. And of course, not in a good way. 😕

The sun has broken through the clouds n fog, and now it seems it's heading back up to the 90's again #today. Still muggy as all get out, so thinking the hot n sweaty trim work is gonna be put off again.

But I'm still gonna try my tomato sandwich hurting skills for a nice lunch #today. 👍😋😊

We are off to a foggy start to our day #today. A thick fog. It's wet n very muggy with humidity registering at 100% but at least cooler than it has been. Only 72deg here at "rise n shine" and anticipated to reach only to the low 80's for #myday.🙂

Don't know what kinda trouble I'm gonna be getting into #today, it being Slackerday Saturday n all. I'm thinking, if the fog lifts n the humidity drops to where one can move without sweating half to death, I'll get out and trim up some of that overgrown weeds n brush around the house n garden.

But if the weather gods have other plans, then maybe just venture out, hunt up, and snag me a nice red tomato sandwich from that nest of them hiding out in the garden for lunch.😋

And if all that fails, and the wife n her honey-dos permit, just stay cool n dry here on my comfy couch, sip cool drinks n well, Slack! 😊

Was out bringing the trash bin up from the road #today, and spotted a flock of tomato sandwiches sitting out in their natural environment.

It's a foggy start to my otherwise sunny summer Monday morning. Another hot n humid one ahead, though not as oppressive as it has been lately. Just low 90's #today and well ... it's always muggy n sticky. Especially after all that rain yesterday. 😏

But I'm up n moving, have my morning coffee and doin' my sitting n sipping n staring at all the dirty dishes left from Sofa Sunday's day of doin nothin's. I guess it's gonna be a busy day of Honey-doin's for me #today. 🙂

Well, I sure should be well rested for it all. But first, there's coffee to sip and things to ponder and eyes to focus. 😵

The long awaited n much anticipated day to catch up on all the fun stuff ya haven't been allowed to do all working week.

Like rolling over and slapping that stupid morning alarm's snooze button this morning. And not just once, but like, two or three times. Not out of the need nor even the desire for a little extra time in the sack, but just out of revenge and gleeful spite and a big smile on your face and maybe a little giggle under ones breath. 😀

A leisure rise n shine. A slow n easy sit n sip of your morning coffee. Maybe even a relaxing, unrushed bit of breakfast by the window overlooking a beautiful and pleasant day.
