I was in line for that exact style of ride as a teen and a little bit of oil came off and a few drops got on this guys BIG DOGS t shirt and he was yelling at an employee about how it ruined his shirt and wanted money for it and I was out of my mind trying not to die laughing. Wasn't this exact one but close to it.

She does take it up there. This was her on the ride after her last session of doing that

I believe you are thinking that. I never said they were trying to license them just that ruger and others made clones of them. Ruger is one of the most litigious gun companies and sue people constantly. It would be like if mcdonalds stole some nugget sauce idea from some mom and pop place. Would be hard to have the legal cost not outweighing the potential settlement for the smaller place.
The gun industry in that era was full of make it now wait for the lawsuit later and kel tec being the way smaller company most likely did not have the resources to sue ruger and stay afloat or did not care. It was so big and popular at the time even S&W just released a glock with no license and went ok it will take like 5 years for this suit to be settled.
Ruger and others made many clones. The late 90s to the 10's were full of p3at and p11 clones.
Most online gun retailers let you return guns within 30 days or just go nah this is off before even doing the transfer and refund you. I'll support a gunshop if the price is slightly higher than online but they almost always are if the gun is 500 online shipped its 950 in the store. I see even something like a hi point or a taurus being sold for 350 dollars at a store when you can get both online very often for 100 for the hi point and 150 for a g2c taurus.
Ruger is somewhat doing better since old bill died but I don't give them business for how gay and anti gun fuddy they were when he was still alive. The "nobody needs a ruger mini14 that has high cap mags but the cops I will sell them to" always pissed me off and I would of had bought one if not for that as they were the cheaper option for an ar15 like gun pre psa 500 dollar builds.
Yeah but I NEED a 25th option for a 850 dollar ar15 tho. The sub2k is the best pistol caliber carbine on the market as its crazy light, takes glock mags, folds the correct way unlike the gay s&w clone so its really compact and you can add a mcarbo red dot mount that flips out the way for 100 bucks. Unironcally the best companion rifle to a carry pistol you keep in your car, but people shit on it.
I have a real soft spot for kel tec shit. I love my sub2000 and I enjoy they actually make something novel instead of here's an ar 15 and glock clone like all other companies now.
I unironically came close to buying one a few years back as a fuck off bears while hiking rifle cause they are so light and small but then pistol braces came out and just got a 11inch ar upper.
Send him this and say its literally him. I fucking love this video so much
