Yeah, I struggle with these things, too. I just wanna know what works, only own that, and think about it as little as possible beyond that. The free stuff is great, and now you will know what to toss and maybe how to incorporate the rest.

I’ve only ever seen two random episodes of Black Mirror and while I could appreciate the stories and the acting, both episodes disturbed me.. deeply.

I’d rather not be reminded of how we can use technology to become…less.

Yes! It makes so much more of my closet make sense. I went down this rabbit hole a couple of months ago and guessed Soft Autumn, but I wanted confirmation before I got rid of stuff lol.

The makeup swatches were super helpful. I suck at picking that out, especially blush and lipstick! And I refuse to own more than three lipsticks so I really! need them to look good 😂

I vaguely remember a hairdresser once telling me I could get away with both summer and winter but I didn’t really know what colours they were and I forgot all about it.

Makeup swatches would be super helpful. I suck at anything like that. My makeup is very basic.

Except that I own lipsticks like they are given away for free! Most of which I don’t wear because I can’t colour match them properly with an outfit 🤦🏻‍♀️

I am not a fashionista, but I still wanna look my best in my secondhand, hole-y perma-outfit 😂 I must be the only person moving across the world prioritizing secondhand clothes because reasons 🫠 I am trying to let go of the ones with holes 😂

Seriously though, all the little decisions of outfits tire me, but if every single color I own feels and looks good on me, then I can grab anything, even if it is only daily t-shirts. And many of the colors are ones I already gravitate towards, but I like that there are new ones that I can now embrace without second guessing if they look good. And and lol, this helps me make some decisions about what to pare down.

So in the complexity, it makes it simpler...welcome to my mind 😂

This would be really useful! Helpful when buying a new thing and when releasing the existing old.

I’ve never thought to do this but i can see it could potentially save time and money.

And lol I am definitely not soft autumn. If I wear cream or off white I have people come up to me asking if I’m unwell. It makes me look physically ill! 😣 😂

I also have a sage green top which I love the style and colour but I can’t seem to get it to work for me… and now I know why!! Thanks heaps for posting this!
