415 years ago, Galileo Galilei pointed his telescope at celestial objects for the first time.

For the first time, humans observed the Moon's features: its craters and more. And when he pointed the telescope at Jupiter, he saw four "stars" next to it. He thought of them as "Galilean satellites," and thus they were named. This is how Ganymede, Callisto, Europa, and Io were discovered.

I have been contemplating this TT ban with my Med/Light Costa Rican this morning. As someone who was shouted down and silenced over the last few years regarding the covaids, it is concerning to see an app shut down by the government. Regardless of the quality of entertainment, or what messages were being conveyed, I think it is a another step down a very dangerous path. Either "they" can control the narrative being allowed to flow or "they" shut down the platforms "they" can't.

It's been 22 months since I made this nPub. What a great feeling knowing it will be here no matter what politicians get elected or what laws they pass.

Just one of the things that makes Nostr great.
