I nearly sold out my cooler last night at the bitcoin meetup. This was the first event to specifically focus on #circulareconomy stuff, so it was really cool to see how many booths people had setup!

Also I decided not to set prices on what I was selling as an experiment and tell folks to make me an offer. Experiment successful! All of what I sold things for was profitable to me. It was interesting because some people got a pound of liver free with how much they purchased just thrown in by me, and some paid double what others did for the same package of that liver.

I got so wrapped up in talking with my customers that I didn't even stop over to buy the mint plants I had been talking with another guy about getting.

Dug up sod and placed wood chips to continue my under tree exclusion zone expansion. I have a regular riding mower not a 0 turn so these are going to be excessive.

Both apples and the peach planted last fall are showing signs of life. I also have proof of life from all 7 berry plants added last fall and new growth on all 11 windbreak trees planted last spring.

The only straggler is the fig I planted last fall. It has a couple of clearly dead branches where the bark is falling off and no signs of new growth yet. It was wrapped all winter but maybe not well enough. Word is they can die back to just the roots and survive so I haven't given up hope yet.

Grapes arrived but the spot isn't ready. I'll have to pot for a couple of weeks then transplant.

Looking at space for 5 more semi dwarf fruit trees, I haven't decided what they'll be yet.

Had that discovery on a ninebark yesterday. Plants will find a way!
