The intricacy of this armour is absolutely incredible.

Pictured here is Hiroyuki Sanada playing “Torunaga” in Shogun - James Clavell’s epic which fictionalised the real period where “Ieyasu” unified Japan and became the Shogun.

Have not watched the show yet, but Sanada is one of the best actors in the world, and certainly one of the best in Japan.

I hope it does justice to the book.

Almost two years, six drafts, and 125,000 words later, The Bushido of Bitcoin is nearly complete. Before the book’s release (next 2 months) I will:

2. Drip-feed snippets from the book, in the form of quotes, lessons, etymology progressions and insights, wrapped in beautiful visuals.

What is The Bushido of Bitcoin?

This is not another book about the history of, or justification for sound money. Neither is it concerned with how Bitcoin works, or how and why it will win.

This is a book about the behaviour, virtue, culture and civilisation of greatness.

It seeks to answer the question: “What happens when Bitcoin wins?”

Who do we become, after we’re the socio-economic elite of the world?

Will we become a new parasitic class?

Will we become self-indulgent degenerates?

Or..

Will become men and women of virtue?

It’s not enough to just say “Bitcoin Fixes This.”

We must actively develop the virtues which give rise to a culture of excellence, for this is the only kind that can reclaim and rebuild civilisation.

Starting tomorrow I will introduce you to the Ten Virtues making up The Bushido of Bitcoin.

They're glimpse into the the book, which itself will follow the historical and etymological genesis of these virtues with an in-depth historical and philosophical analysis on how they were developed and embodied by the greatest leaders and warriors throughout history, along with the lessons we can draw from them as we embark on a new age that demands heroism should we want to claim back civilisation.

What lies before us may be a “clown world” but hope is far from lost. We’ve been here before. Many times, and against greater odds.
