I haven't. the lnd specification is straightforward; I figured StartOS used lnd

Of course, both files are on the server. Just ssh in and find where lnd is running, the files are somewhere in the data directory. Tls certification + cookie/macaroon is how remote connections are able to access LND's grpc or REST interfaces

You need access to the tls.cert file as the admin.macaroon file, no dependencies required. Concatenate both files and convert macaroon to base64 and feed into whatever lndconnect compatible application.

Reference (w/qrencode to create QRs):

echo 'lndconnect://example.com?cert='"`grep -v 'CERTIFICATE' tls.cert | tr -d '=' | tr '/+' '_-'`"'&macaroon='"`base64 admin.macaroon | tr -d '=' | tr '/+' '_-'`" | tr -d '\n' | qrencode -o /tmp/out.png

It feels like nostr is enabling a decentralized protocol renaissance. nostr:npub1v0lxxxxutpvrelsksy8cdhgfux9l6a42hsj2qzquu2zk7vc9qnkszrqj49 added this torrent NIP recently: https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/1175 what if we utilize bittorrent for discovering and sharing files via nostr? This is not a new idea but the network affects could have huge benefits on seeding:

Imagine someone reposts a torrent and says “please help me seed this”. Then clients could integrate bittorrent and start helping out right away. Then you could zap people who helped seed.

nostr can fix many decentralized protocol incentives problem just from its network effects and embrace of open protocols.

Awhile back I was messing with dtan and also messed with a dht crawler called bitmagnet, I almost use it more than vanilla indexers now

it's for your protection 🙃

All Swan's business does is add overhead onto an industry which can't have a lot of. (The graveyard of managed mining services has plenty of examples).

Swan picked up a lot of hash (allegedly) so if they were in-tuned with mining by keeping all of their machines running, then they should have no time to be messing with bullshit. Coming out and say that they need others to pay to keep ASICs running is a signal of a failing mining operation because capacity cannot be fully deployed. That's how I read Swan's announcement

Mining is tough, it's for anyone but not everyone 🤷 but who knows, maybe they really have some ASIC-whisperer running their operation like a master conductor -- some bullshit like that npubs on nostr can't fathom🙄 or... They should wise up and leave mining alone or at least step aside if they don't know what their doing

looks like shit 🤭😂

Bitcoin and Hip Hop go hand-in-hand for me

Dedication, hard work plus patience

The sum of all my sacrifice, I'm done waitin'

I'm done waitin', told you that I wasn't playin'

Now you hear what I been sayin'

Dedication

It's dedication, look

Nipsey has this interview where he shouts out satoshi for "checkmating the whole game". I wonder if he'd be a laser-eyed maxi if he were still around.

kdot got everyone attention on lowercaseonly now

there's countries out there where public toilet stalls have no doors 🫠

One of those same countries also have areas where they require a face-scan to dispense toilet paper too!🫣
