Fair question. What is the likelihood that most of the world finance serves at the pleasure of the US market?

Starting to wonder if the new FinCEN rules and the ETF timing may be more closely linked than initially expected.

1. Pull up the drawbridges and make transactions using the base assets difficult for everyday folks.

2. Usher folks into the new safe approved ETF version.

3. Play the old state-captured gold games with Bitcoin. Price is whatever they want it to be.

Had an absolute blast at #PlanB Lugano. Off into the mountains currently hiking with my long suffering wife, made this conference a holiday (would have been rude not to).

Highlights:

- Miniscript presentation and the simplicity of abstractions

- Asset issuance on Liquid panel (ready for capital markets, watch this space)

- Chatting briefly to Adam Back and having him tell us the price was pumping (it isn’t about the price nostr:npub1qg8j6gdwpxlntlxlkew7eu283wzx7hmj32esch42hntdpqdgrslqv024kw 😉)

- Paying for coffee at a local cafe with Bitcoin and the staff not looking puzzled/confused or being unable to use the PoS. It was just like another day for them #winning

- Finally shaking nostr:npub1lr2zzf989mvf393y0tv39ara6a4vddkd6y87z784up9vl6ks6j3qtudl6a ‘s hand, we thank you for all of your service sir

- Meeting nostr:npub10vlhsqm4qar0g42p8g3plqyktmktd8hnprew45w638xzezgja95qapsp42 and thanking him for #ProgrammingBitcoin

- Sneaking a selfie with Max Keiser

- Hearing all of the bullish stories about how Bitcoin is being leveraged globally to enact real change

Great work to the PlanB team and to the plebs who all made it awesome!!

Got a bit more info? Not sure about clicking a random link. How do we know your account hasn’t been hacked by the suits?

GM sir, looking forward to this weeks recap.

Morning chap. What happened to the weekly [dot]Review? Missed it over the weekend, it is my go-to for getting a quick roundup on the “nothing to see over here” dev-chat.

It gets easier and easier every day to not use X. So much junk that finding the signal in the noise is maddening. Then you swap over to your fav nostr client (you choose) and it is like a sea of calm with a beacon of signal blasting out over the waves... love it!

Yeah I just wish he would go after someone who can flatten him and squash this nonsense for good, let's hope the stupidity/arrogance gets the better of Faketoshi oneday

I wonder, does this risk spilling over to GitHub? If Craig goes after GitHub for sharing the content with folks from the UK.

Don’t the dots represent things on fire for the most part (except where local)? Maybe just near the dots would be best.

Please, tell us what you really think of us.

Literally speaking the words the FED wishes it could.

Stay humble, stack sats and direct folks to the lifeboat in an orderly fashion…

If you looks at the small grouping of berries and the small white petal flowers with yellow stamen it looks very much like it is part of the nightshade family (which covers tomatoes and potatoes as well as deadly varieties etc). However the leaves don’t quite look right for that as they would normally be pointed.

Firstly I’d tell the kid, don’t eat shit that you know what it is. Second they should use an app to try identify it.

Good call. Maybe try the nostr-rs-relay then? Let me know how you get on with it, I had planned on trying it out myself at some-point. Could even run a Start-OS and manage it through that, no need to run a node all apps optional with that build, would make for a good sovereign home serve.

Agreed, though I wasn’t sure what your intentions were.
