Bitcoin hedge wizard. Do not consult me unless as a last resort.

Looks like they are being as retarded as ever on X.

Writing for canon is too hard. It's just a lazy way to explore ideas and aesthetics without having to construct an overarching narrative. You know. Like David Lynch.

Okay strategic Bitcoin reserve. Nothing changed, except now we will supposedly know how much bitcoin government douchebags stole or lost. And now the government has a mandate to get their hands on bitcoin at no cost to taxpayers, which means federal law enforcement is INCENTIVIZED to fish for bitcoin criminals.

Fucking lame.

Good morning, stand-up fam. Yesterday I flailed around the codebase until I was distracted by 3 ongoing non-iteration tasks given to me by 3 different managers, none of whom assessy annual performance.

Today I plan to ditch work as soon as I can and 100% the HD remake of Donkey Kong Country Returns for Nintendo Wii, arguably one of the greatest platformers published by the Big N. This includes all the secret temples and gold medaling all the speed runs.

I have no blockers.

Been on the job a month.

Realize it is going to take me at least 11 more months to properly understand the oral architectural decision log, the labrynthine tech stack, the niche problem space, and the logically impenatrable domain language.

It's remote. All my Zoom calls dodged. Everyone is too stressed and busy to field my questions.

I was just given 15 points of complexity to turn into features in a week.

I can't believe we live in a time where we have seen 10 sats buys you 1 cent.

Do you I understand how bonkers that is? How monumentally bananas?

It's like how your grandpa used to tell you he bought a house for like $7000. EXCEPT ITS IN REVERSE AND INSTEAD OF TWO GENERATIONS IT TOOK 10 YEARS.

> be cat

> make the "I'm gonna barf" meow

> be quickly picked up and moved to laminate flooring

> dash towards wall and proceed to prodigiously vomit down floor register

OpenAI Plots Charging $20,000 a Month For PhD-Level Agents: https://www.theinformation.com/articles/openai-plots-charging-20-000-a-month-for-phd-level-agents

Here, I thought the whole point of LLM was to reduce salaries. 20k per month per postdoc comes to $240k pa. Postdoc salary is around $70k in the Bay Area and much less in the other parts of the world. This is more expensive than hiring an actual human. Many find spending $200 hard to pay for a pro account. The whole thing is a big scam based on stolen data to train AI and creating more environmental issues.

Works 24hrs a day. Doesn't need health or unemployment insurance. Doesn't get sick. Doesn't take PTO. Doesn't get writers block. Doesn't take breaks. Doesn't unionize. Doesn't need security or DEI training. Doesn't require a legal or HR department to manage their drama.

Even if the price point is too high, it can only go down from here.

If you wanted to build/buy a machine expressly for the purposes of running private AI agents for general work (transcription, summarizing, text to speech, coding, chat, etc...), what would you build/buy?

If you were a Paultard 2007-2012, it is absolutely nuts to watch everything going down the way it is.

It's a bitcoin-only strategic reserve or it"s a bailout for the biggest bribers in the shitcoin industry. No. In. Between.

There are plenty of people who will give every person the benefit of the doubt and say shit like "Everyone is doing their best", as if effort wasnt a choice and didn't require agency.

I am not one of those people, and there is room for me on earth. The world will continue to spin if I just say, "fuck grown adults who can't take care of their shit; who don't have the presence of mind to even know how to ask for help." Fuck them all.

Tyler better not be real.

Some of these XMR people aspire to nothing short of a "Sir this is a Wendy's" joke setup.
