I want "Bitty" to become a thing now 🙂
Beach House all week. On the speakers this morning:

This is the best we could come up with for now. If you can see the embedded player, you can not only play the track but also boost it ⚡

Couple notes: since all our music is v4v you can play the whole track, not just a preview. Also, while I don't think embedding the boost function like this is the best approach, it does allow users to zap the person sharing as a token of appreciation, which is useful

Been thinking a lot about this, too. Would love to have a Nostr-native way for fans to forward zaps to Wavlake artists when they share links, for example. Might require a modification to NIP-57 or some new mechanism altogether
Update on Wavlake embeds: I made a new subdomain for them so you can just replace 'player.wavlake.com' with 'embed.wavlake.com' and it should work for track, album, and artist links as long as the rest of the path remains the same. In case it's helpful, here's a link to a PR I just made for Snort with the update (hasn't been reviewed/approved yet): https://github.com/v0l/snort/pull/439 Let me know if you need anything else!
Latest embed changes for Wavlake have been merged into Snort #[4] They're looking good so far. Would love to see these in NostrGram, too!
I think his idea that debts/grievances/guilts are innate to human societies, that they pre-date money and markets, and in some important ways bind us all together, is a fascinating concept. That was the biggest takeaway for me. The perspective makes sense considering he's an anthropologist but I thought it was interesting nonetheless

If you share the regular link (e.g. player.wavlake.com/track/etc...) the client will automatically configure the embed. No need to use the embed url

Haha it's worse than you think. Zeppelin IV was 20 years old when Nevermind came out. Nevermind is now over 30
Thanks for the update! A few things going on here: 1) Some links are being shared as http links and not https, which ends up in CORS errors and breaks the embed. Not much we can do about those old posts but all new links moving forward should use the right protocol 2) We've only built out embeds for tracks but not albums or artists yet, so that's why those are blank. Working on fixing that now and can let you know when it's live. Would love to see a Wavlake filter on NostrGram when it's all ready 😀
Pulled in so many favors to get this track done. My friend Jeremy, who has gone on to play in proper orchestras, wrote and performed the double bass part. I'll never forget when the mastering engineer heard it for the first time and was like "He's good." Also, I produced this completely in Fruity Loops of all places 😂
