Ubiquiti is US owned and Taiwanese manufactured; and further I use a complete Ubiquiti networking stack (gateway, switching, wifi) so it was a great fit.

Thanks for helping reveal unspoken predicates and assumptions on my part. To be clear, I already had a self-custody lightning node and have for many years. This can be hosted at home and exposed on clearnet, run on Tor, protected by VPN, Cloudflare tunnel, or other means. LND is easier to find compatible LNURL-pay software. Liquidity costs (for inbound channel) can be pretty low. Alternatively, you can open outbound only (free), spend sats as you would normally, and anything you spend becomes inbound liquidity to your node.
If you can run LND or Core Lightning, you can surely also run the LNURL-pay software, so no extra costs or overhead there.
You will need a domain which runs you $10-$50 / year. I use porkbun.com
Being on nostr since 2022 I just sort of set up my lightning address with a Wallet of Satoshi address and forgot about it (to say nothing of my mercurial use of nostr).

If they build on Cโ, your tx is no longer included in the longest chain. c, containing your block is an "orphan block". This is a simple version of a "chain reorganization". The 6 block rule of thumb seeks to minimize this probability (that your tx is reorged away)
