builder at wavlake.com, usually got a tune in my head

I've always loved music about music, that's the kind of nerd I am. Also, the guitars on this track are from that black acoustic guitar, just crunched up with effects

Cut this one together out of a bunch of samples, not exactly sure anymore where all of them came from. Kind of my homage to DJ Shadow, fades in slow...

Recorded this one in Seoul, South Korea in the apartment pictured on the cover

Ok I see one issue: some of the url params aren't being parsed correctly. For example in the following note, the embed request is appending the track id with the first word from the following line, which ends up being an invalid id

Ah apologies it's not there yet. Our embeddable player is at the same url but at the path "/embed", e.g. "player.wavlake.com/embed/track/"

If it's helpful, the iframe params I used for Snort are in this file: https://github.com/v0l/snort/blob/main/packages/app/src/Element/WavlakeEmbed.tsx

Was doing some tests last night to 1) embed a Wavlake player in notes and 2) delete those notes if the embed didn't work. Both tests appear to have failed 🫠

The pow feature for badges sounds cool. Wouldn't the computational work be relatively trivial to do on one's own though, esp with no competitive time constraints? Could be cool to tie the badge to value on-chain somehow, with something like an ordinal for example, and give it a transferable property as well

Adding two more Nostr bounties.

## 1st is a long form (kind23) bounty.

A Ghost-blog like self-hosted replacement on Nostr.

This would help companies move their corporate blogs to Nostr and still serve on the web.

## 2nd is a podcast RSS feed mirror/replacement

The main goal is to replace RSS for podcasts, and eventually have podcasts players that understand it. So that users would just follow some pubkey and the authors podcast feed magically appears on the podcast client feed.

I've thought about the Rss feed alternative idea a bit, too. You write that "reference to a previous entry is important. Maybe would need a new nip/kind that expresses chain of events."

I think I follow but wonder if that's necessary, you could potentially put any event references/descriptors you needed in the content itself

At some point all these relay runners we're dependent on will need financial support to keep going, because the ongoing costs are not trivial. That's when we find out how much this is really worth to everyone

I think about this all the time ⚡

You know how on Twitter there's a "For You" tab, and a "Trending" side bar, and tweets are all out of order, and there's all kinds of other nonsense they sneak in so you keep clicking and scrolling... so that ultimately your eyeballs see more ads?

Well, imagine if you could decide how your feed looked. Or you could choose some other way to determine what you saw. And your account wasn't controlled by one company that could shut you down arbitrarily but by a universal password that you kept to yourself.

That's Nostr.
