Not sure when shitcoiners (on Bitcoin network) will understand this.
Please don't keep telling everyone (especially nocoiners) that everything is good for #Bitcoin especially when you know that something is an outright scam.

Whoever is making fun of you by showing a chart of $NVDA vs $BTC (5-10 years time frame), let them continue making fun of you.
They don't understand #bitcoin since they spent most of their time proving that the fiat ponzi scheme works and it will continue to work which is utterly FALSE.
LET THEM GET FUCKED & STAY FUCKED.

Yes it MITIGATES the spamming for sure.
A bunch of high time preference people are adding arb data into blockchain and polluting the blockchain and these people have been pushing the narrative that you can't stop them from adding arb data into blockchain but the fact that by running bitcoin knots version of bitcoin core, you can MITIGATE this attack.
The link I shared is not fake link but it will give you detailed explanation on what I mentioned here.
#Bitcoin
There was something very significant happened in February 2023 with #bitcoin network but there are lot of people from bitcoiners community who have been normalizing this event.
Since February 2023, #bitcoin has been going through (I would say at least an social attack) and it seems like #bitcoiners are not resisting enough against this attack since there is a narrative being pushed to a lot of #bitcoiners that "THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN REALLY DO TO STOP THIS ATTACK".
This whole narrative is a PSYOP. DO NOT FALL FOR IT
If you are not sure what exactly happened in February 2023, I would strongly suggest checking this website out. It explains what has exactly happened and what you can do to MITIGATE this (social) attack (for now).
wtfhappenedinfeb2023.github.io
[I would also suggest all the bitcoiners to run your own node. You can't become self sovereign individual without running your own #bitcoin node with #bitcoin knots not original #bitcoin core version]
I still don't get why people keep saying that Satoshi was flawed (especially when it comes to FILTERING THE SPAM)
If a person like myself (who has 80IQ) can read between the lines then not sure why #Bitcoin dev community keeps making this SPAM a subjective topic.
I hope more Bitcoiners wake up and take action against what I would say at least SOCIAL ATTACK on #bitcoin.

Which pool you will be choosing? Would it be OCEAN? nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx nostr:npub1tpasdddzk3w9uh04ejldnm2kvnx3vs47t8hstrwlnx40nawhsays5ykxc2
I have been running Knots as well but it's so frustrating to see a lot of people still running #bitcoin core.
And I agree with your point about laying down the clear law but just because some people have been compromised because of Ordinals and other spams, it seems way harder to get buy ins from all node runners to run #bitcoin knots.
When Do Bitcoin Node Operators Upgrade?
"Before July 2018 it generally took 1 year for 95% of node operators to update their software. But after 2018 it doubled to 2 years. And it's entirely possible that we're now in an era of it taking 3 years for 95% of node operators to update!"
https://www.nobsbitcoin.com/when-do-bitcoin-node-operators-upgrade/
This is not good thing IMO.
Bitcoiners should know when to update software quickly and when to stick with old version.
If this trend doesn't change then people will take too much time to adjust their filters for arb data (aka spam) and we all will end up storing lot of spam in our nodes.

A lot of bitcoiners are still sleeping on this. This is not organic growth at all in fees.
WHEN FEES ARE HIGHER THAN THE ACTUAL VALUE MOVED ON #BITCOIN NETWORK WOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED REAL FREE MARKET.
PLEASE WAKE UP AND ACT ON IT.
We need to play long game with these SPAMMERS [AT LEAST by running FILTERED VERSION OF #BITCOIN CORE (i.e Bitcoin Knots).
I would say just calling out SPAMMERS won't likely work. We need to do both (calling out SPAMMERS and running FILTERED VERSION OF BITCOIN CORE).

I am not sure what are your thoughts about inscriptions/ordinals but this is at least SOCIAL ATTACK on #bitcoin community and it could get really worse if we don't act on it. We could be opening up ourselves for future state coordinated attack(s).
I hope you understand the seriousness of the situation and roll out one of the mentioned filter versions of #bitcoin core ASAP.
THERE IS A FALSE NARRATIVE GOING ON IN #BITCOIN COMMUNITY THAT "YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT SPAM(S)".
DO NOT FALL FOR FAKE FREE MARKET OR FAKE ANARCHO - CAPITALISM NARRATIVE .
THIS NARRATIVE WON'T BE CHALLENGED UNTIL PEOPLE CAN'T ACCESS #BitcoinKnots or #BITCOIN CORE WITH ORDISRESPECTOR WITH EASE ON THEIR NODE AND RUN THAT VERSION.
IT WILL ALSO CLEAR FUD ABOUT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POLICY CHANGE AND CONSENSUS CHANGE.
MY FELLOW BITCOINERS,
DO NOT GET CONFUSED BETWEEN "FILTERING" AND "CENSORING". YOU ARE NOT CENSORING TXS BY RUNNING FILTERED VERSION OF BITCOIN CORE. YOU ARE ACTUALLY FILTERING (MOST OF THE) SPAMS. SPAMS WILL STILL BE VALIDATED BY YOUR NODE BUT BY USING FILTERED VERSION, YOU ARE MAKING IT HARDER FOR SPAMMERS TO SPAM BITCOIN NETWORK. YOU ARE ALSO USING YOUR SELF-SOVEREIGNTY ON YOUR NODE WHEN YOU USE POLICY SETTING FEATURE.
"FILTERING MEANS USING YOUR SELF-SOVEREIGNTY IN THIS CASE"
"FILTERING DOES NOT BREAK MEMPOOL OR BITCOIN, IT WILL BANKRUPT SPAMMERS"
EVERY SOFTWARE ALWAYS HAS (SOME) BUG (SPAM IN OUR CASE) NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU OPTIMIZE/IMPROVE THAT SOFTWARE. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING ON WITH BITCOIN BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. YOU CAN ALWAYS FIGHT BACK AND MAKE IT HARDER FOR BUG (AKA SPAM) TO EXIST.

1/10: Understanding #Bitcoin Spam in 2023
1/ In February 2023, the #Bitcoin network experienced an unusual spike in non-payment transactions. This wasn't like the typical increase during bull runs. It was something different, something that raised many eyebrows in the #Bitcoin community.
2/10: Spam's Identity Crisis
2/ What exactly is 'spam' on #Bitcoin ? It's not about unwanted emails. Here, spam refers to transactions that flood the network, serving no financial purpose. These transactions take up space and resources, like a bunch of junk emails clogging your inbox, but for Bitcoin.
3/10: The Real Cost of Spam
3/ Why worry about spam? It's not just annoying; it's costly. When the network gets spammed, it gets slower and more expensive to use. Each spammy transaction takes up room that could be used for legitimate financial transactions, driving up fees.
4/10: Not Just a Glitch, A Strategy
4/ February 2023 wasn't a glitch; it was a strategy. Some people or groups deliberately spammed #Bitcoin to disrupt its smooth functioning. This could be for various reasons, like trying to prove a point or attacking the network's efficiency.
5/10: Debunking Spam Myths
5/ Some say, "It's not spam if it's a transaction on #Bitcoin !" But that's like saying it's not littering if it's on public property. Misusing the network's capabilities for non-financial purposes is like littering the digital public space of #Bitcoin .
6/10: The History Lesson
6/ This isn't new. #Bitcoin has faced spam attacks before. Each time, it's about people testing #Bitcoin's limits or trying to prove a point, often at the expense of regular users. It's a battle of principles versus practical use.
7/10: Feeling the Burn
7/ During these spam events, regular users feel the burn. Transactions get stuck, fees climb, and the #Bitcoin experience becomes less smooth. It's like being in a traffic jam caused by a few drivers intentionally blocking the road.
8/10: #Bitcoin's Defense Mechanism
8/ How does #Bitcoin deal with this? Through policy (not consensus) and network defenses. Think of it as having traffic rules and police to manage road use. #Bitcoin needs rules to keep the network efficient and fair for all.
9/10: User's Role in Fighting Spam
9/ It's not just up to #Bitcoin's protocol to fight spam. Users play a role too. Being aware and not participating in non-financial transactions helps. Think before you transact: "Is this necessary, or is it just adding to the clutter?"
10/10: Looking Forward
10/ The future of #Bitcoin depends on balancing freedom with responsibility. Spam attacks test this balance. By understanding and respecting the network's purpose, the #Bitcoin community can ensure its strength and efficiency for years to come.

People don't like to hear this but
"The more you understand bitcoin, whether that is from a philosophical nature of sound money, or a technical perspective of how the network operates, the more you think of spam as an attack vector on #bitcoin "
Let me try to explain to you by simple example: -
You get all kinds of emails in your inbox and when you know that it's spam, you report (aka filter) it as spam. Next time you don't let that email enter into your inbox next time and as you get more spam emails, you keep filtering them (EVEN IF YOU KNOW THAT FILTERING THESE SPAM EMAILS WILL NOT SOLVE THIS ISSUE FROM THE ROOT BUT YOU DON'T MIND PLAYING CAT AND MOUSE GAME WITH SPAMMERS)
Email is based on open source protocol (aka SMTP) and anyone is free to send any information by following the rules of this protocol but since they followed all the rules of the protocol, it doesn't make that information viable. You can't just let that information (aka spam) enter your inbox (because that information follows all rules of SMTP protocol)
Now replace email with your node and replace information (following all rules of SMTP protocol) with arb data (i.e.inscriptions, BRC-20 tokens stamps) and think through it.
If you don't filter these spams then you will incentivize them to do more and more in future. If you do then either they will come up with different ways (maybe a more efficient way which could help with the bloating blockspace situation in the case of the Bitcoin network) or they might completely stop it since people are way more aware than before and their scam won't work anymore.
"YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO STOP ARB DATA GETTING INTO BITCOIN BLOCKSPACE" IS A PSYOP. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
LONG LIVE #BITCOIN
cc nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m nostr:npub1wnlu28xrq9gv77dkevck6ws4euej4v568rlvn66gf2c428tdrptqq3n3wr
Filters will not completely stop arb data but will definitely disincentivize this behavior.
Not sure why people don't get it.
Please read the difference between policy change vs consensus change.
People just directly jump to the consensus change without even looking into policy change.
Apply filtering is policy change not consensus change.
"Filtering" and "Censoring" are whole different thing in this case. Don't mix them up.
Always try to run #Bitcoin Knots or anti-filter version of #bitcoin core node.
"YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING" IS A PSYOP.
