Nostr is not without drama.

Come to think of it, threads were a necessity on Xitter because of the character limit. No need for them here. Just write long notes or even reads!

Because sometimes I make sporadic life-changing decisions on impulse, I am now experimenting with what I call "the decision timer".
Basically, if I come up with another "genius" idea that I want to do "right now!" and that will change my life to a more or less significant extent, I put it in my decision timer which lasts one month.
One month is, under normal conditions, not long enough for the environment to change drastically or for someone to steal and implement my idea or some other thing of the sort to happen, but a long enough period for me to cool off and rethink it a dozen times.
I can't change my character but I can certainly manage some aspects of it better.
TIMER ON.

Do threads work well on Nostr or is it better to quote-post your next notes?
Why do I seem to know stuff while at the same time sounding like a noob in my notes?
Easy. I dropped out for a couple of years to focus on family and some brick-and-mortar things.
Now that I have more than doubled the size of my family and built some physical objects, I’m back to catch up. Skipping Xitter and going full on Nostr.
I’ve only refused coffee once for a while. I have corrected this mistake.
Who remembers Bitrated? They shut down a couple of years ago because the idea was ahead of its time. Likely, it still is. The first multisig application ever.
But I think the idea of a bitcoin escrow service itself is still good. Buying or selling anything with bitcoin safely and securely, minimizing the chances of getting rugged.
Looks like Nunchuk is doing something like that but more advanced! Check it out: nunchuk.io

The country is literally batshit crazy. I’ve had zero desire to ever visit England, unconsciously. Now I understand why.
I hope those who tap into it don’t stay silent, apply for patents, etc.
Just open-source it on Nostr.
Western Christmas seems too materialistic: it’s all about food and presents.
Orthodox Christmas (January the 7th) in Russia is strictly religious.
I don’t really celebrate either.
That’s why I don’t go to bitcoin meetups and hangouts. It’s just non-stop bitcoin talk.
Yes, I don't know exactly how it works, I've only read articles that say it's not really Yandex that shares the info but third-party cookies.
Anyway, the result is that I'm trying Kagi now and so far it seems good.
I forget I'm on nostr, and this type of posts are jokes. Ah well.
You should never buy HW wallets pre-loaded or even opened, unless it's an Opendime.

Funny
Most accounts in Russian services are tied to your phone number, Yandex too. I didn’t mind for convenience (I know, duh) but eventually I started getting sales calls all the time. Cookies basically dump your phone number to website owners.
