I see this as a "stay humble" test for Bitcoiners. I welcome the US government buying bitcoins, because I know that we are uncapturable.

The horse left the barn with the bill announcement. It might take years, get tied up in courts, but yes the US government will buy Bitcoin.
The game theory is the longer the government takes, the worse the fiscal situation gets.
The bill was the genesis block for nation state adoption. With each consecutive block that passes the fiscal situation gets worse, the existing system deteriorates, and the harder it is for the government to fix its currency problem.
Fiat mines have had a 10% difficulty adjustment up today.
