So far I love Nostr. I can see this being the future of social media. Experienced deleted and/or shadow bans on YouTube, IG, TikTok, Twitter, and Twitch. There’s nothing more defeating than putting hard work in to build an account up to 200K plus followers and then getting deleted in the blink of an eye. I am ready to go all in on Nostr. It’s such a genius idea. Does anyone have a link to an ‘explain like I am 5’ beginners guide to Nostr. I am super lost about all the different relays. Can you post to a specific relay or do your posts go out to all the relays you’re connected to ? I understand paid relays will have less spam and that’s a perk. How do you know what relay is worth paying for ? I have not found much info on what relays offer what benefits. lightning is a hot wallet. hardware wallets try to be as cold as possible. I guess there are tradeoffs that could be made, using watchtowers etc, but to me ln is what I use for every day transactions, and my hardware wallet is that guards my savings.

We need more alt-ers on here lol

if there is one thing that lightning is not great at, it's cold storage
