FRS? Family Radio Service. It's good because it doesn't require a license, but is limited in power (0.5 - 2 watts) and can't use repeaters. GMRS overlaps with the FRS frequencies (making the radios interoperable) but lets you use repeaters and transmit up to 50 watts. Only $35 for a 10 year license that covers your whole family, and no test required.

Is the PIN not device-specific, like biometrics? If I install Strike on a new device and log in to that instance of the app for the first time, will I be prompted for the PIN set earlier from a different device?

Children's book authors should always use high contrast text. Parents like to read to kids before bed in low light. And we're old and can't see anything.

Maybe an authorization mechanism would help. The real risk is probably not in having too many users but even one malicious user pumping it full of other people's pubkeys. Obviously the usability without needing to provide an nsec or login via extension is nice though. Maybe just require the user to have posted a note containing the url your site within the past hour or day.

Easy to set up a personal relay thanks to nostr:npub1xhfxu35se0s63x90v8xr29txr66l5a3m277skshy2zvu3ve0658sla4xw3's nostr-rs-relay. Very cool, thank you.

Just wish they would write a Linux client. A Syncthing network that includes a safe & robust device like a NAS is also a great solution without monthly cost.

Renaming "Communities" to "Community" shortened it enough to fit on one line, even on the narrow Fold4. Looks great πŸ‘

I see that's explicit now in the UI and works great on desktop. Is there any path to a similar kind of login flow for mobile?
