I feel ya; I think it's because when we're 'composing' our brain is still in an active and creative mode, and the words are still 'wet clay' and the mind fills in the intention more - once it piece is 'publish' we review more as an 'editor, audience, and critic' - the mind, in this slightly less creatively engaged mode, is likely more prone to see what 'Is' rather than what is 'Intended' -- maybe.
Iris to get on the network; Alby to get a wallet -- collect more info & refine as you go. It could work out.
So far 'Iris' on-ramp + 'Alby' wallet seem to be pretty intuitive and have decent tutorials/documentation
This is thoughtful and well considered - I appreciate the intuitive layout and engagement of psychological and social contexts re: emoji @ 'drivers & catalysts'
Yeah; that'll work out.
'Fortune Favors' , 'Omelets and Eggs' the dox is worth the progress -- that 'note to self' feature is just that - not a bug. Wonder if that could be leveraged to essentially "authenticate" the original messenger without divulging identity? Almost like a 'checkmark' verified DM ... that the note originated from a particular author/entity.... Hmm.

work in progress
π private notes is encrypted with a NEW key
π it's not tied to your main key
π the new key is stored as a DM sent to yourself
you could share that key with a third party to give them access to it without revealing anything about your own identity
This is brilliant. -- Would allow for instance; the transfer of educational materials and various 'resources' securely, remotely, globally, trustlessly, and anonymously. -- One could imagine a sort of 'self directed' Trust/Will for instance.... -- One could inform an inheritor of the existence of an asset, and how to interact with etc. As easily as a scheduled email that is regularly monitored and updated to delay send another predetermined time interval. ... Real cool man.
Any recent Nostr related podcasts that I should add to the site, not currently on here ? π https://sersleepy.com/plebs-university/audio-podcasts
No idea if there are any out there rn; can guarantee there will be. Ha!
Signal indeed. Good share! -- This is resonant in my experience as well; human empathy, and an understanding that as we rise each morning and open our eyes, we share globally the Circumstance of our Humanity. This shared 'piece' of our universal context is akin to a 'seed phrase' upon which We can choose to build. --- Humanity is exceptionally adept at creating 'gods' .. they are myriad and legion - one is but an honest look from seeing these truths of Muslims, Christians, Hebrew, Hindu, Buddhist - these echoes of shared contexts, shared questions, shared dreams, shared fears, shared hopes ... SO much now is in Our choosing. -- We are living now in an abundance of 'static and deception' - here, is where we might shine. --- One should not need an idea of a God or some great fear to inspire on to 'Good.' I think when one is given a stable environment where basic needs are met, and there is time and space to observe and consider....these things are, as someone once said; 'self evident.'
Yeah; I've been just poking about the periphery and dynamically witnessing the teasing out of onboarding features and experience. There has been a marked improvement in information availability and products/apps/on-ramps/tools - relentless and unstoppable.
Yeah ... as soon as I figure out this lightning wallet integration without a phone number its a wrap. Ha!
My first impressions are that the largest hurdle is integrating a lightning wallet into an easy 'onboarding' experience like Iris is providing. I can very clearly 'see' how one could build from this excellent 'starting template' re: building a following, publishing, developing a voice, monetization etc.... --- But this thing needs a wallet. I understand I can get one if I give a phone number....yeah, that shouldn't be necessary. Browser and Desktop apps/programs/environments should all for easy 'login & lightning'
Are there people out there who can read this?
