Facts. -- Preach fam; preach! -- Remember when Obama wanted to permanently cut takes on US citizens making less than 100k ... but John Boehner and the Republians refused to cut taxes for the vast majority of US citizens that actually needed it---UNLESS....the wealthiest got a tax cut too. --- Wild how shit like that is completely missed. --- That said; it isn't 'reason' that gets people to believe and repeat this stuff..... its 'Church' --- The power of conditioning millions of people to show up to a place every Sunday and mutually and publicly agree that absolutely irrational--OBVIOUS absurdities ...are 'the truth' --- It's all good ....the coming majority sees....the 35 and under Millennial Majority know that 'sky daddy's are silly toys for simple old folks that allow themselves to be controlled --- Bitcoin fixes this.

Makes sense --- many don't want to bring children into a dying world. -- We've managed radical destruction of bio-sphere and 'Life' in the last 100 years....humanity doesn't live through another 200 years of this... --//-- It's rational to have cause for pause given the rampant ignorance in our species ---- 'flat earth' and 'sky daddies' ---still a thing ---- That said....Bitcoin fixes this.

Ha! --- Precisely! -- "Don't tread on me" ---but my sky daddy thinks you should live this way---so I'm going to let my obvious delusion change law to make you live differently -- These folks that actually support this should be added to the list of 'volunteers' that will raise the consequences of THEIR decisions. -- If people are forced to have children...those forcing them should raise them. -- OR--- Let freedom ring .....

Perchance gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the richness inherent to those things that bring joy and inculcate happiness -- not so much, deriving more from less; but recognizing and appreciating that there is more in these things of 'joy' when we choose to 'see'

I believe that Cryptocurrency/Blockchain/Publicly-Distributed-Ledger technologies offer a novel chance at the perfect time. -- An opportunity to change our politics and the quality of our governance. -- Empowering the individual, and decoupling from centralized authority, the power to manipulate our monetary policy and supply. -- To engender a greater sense of international unity and accord, with the establishment of universally accepted means of storing, retaining, and exchanging value and keeping units of account. -- WE can unify 'The Millennial Super-Majority'; the 35-and-under demographic which, for the first time, can out-vote 'The Boomers.' --To begin the necessary transition(s) of political, economic, and social power to the coming generation(s). -- Part of the problem is that the 70 and 80 year olds establishing policy, have not, and will not, have to live with the consequences of their decisions; be they 'poisoned waters, burning trees, or unaffordable housing.' -- WE can rally around positive, creative, economically responsible, technologies -- that help remove the influence of money in our politics, and poison from our public discourse. -- To free ourselves from 'Private Interests' in 'Public Halls'; for the betterment of the 'Common Good.' -- I would love to see -- 'The Millennial Super-Majority' – peacefully insist in unity that "WE" are free; and make it so with OUR vote.

-- No more negativity; fix the money; fix the world. -- Let's get it!

Imagine if there was a global state of fair play---with 21 million units that each could be sub-divided into 100 million fundamental units called 'Satoshi' --- these units can capture store, distribute, and exchange value globally, devoid of synthetic deflation --- value creation and retention, energy, and Time; captured and stored --available to all. --- WE win with Bitcoin.

For me it's a bit of a two part equation --- How many years left on a personal level --- and How many years left on a global level if we collectively continue to ignore the first law of thermodynamics --- Only so many trees and one ocean---and WE're burning, polluting and acidifying faster than ever....look at the 'work' we've put in in just the last 100 years.... Humanity doesn't survive another 200 years in the manner we've been going --- Bitcoin wins or WE lose. -- My money, heart, and mind are on Bitcoin -- Together WE are inevitable. -- Let's get it!

I really appreciate the energy and 'joie de vivre' of these words and this image-- Let's get it! -- Bitcoin ftw!

The future is run by a border-less international collective of well funded artists, engineers, creatives, humorists, musicians, authors and human being---mutually supporting means of storing our collective Time/Energy value in immutable public ledgers. ---Beyond the reach and control of centralized entities and the detrimental influence of 'private interests' in 'public halls.' -- Together WE are inevitable.

Lawmakers seek 'blue-ribbon commission' to study impacts of AI tools

The wheels of government have finally begun to turn on the issue of generative AI regulation. US Representatives Ted Lieu (D-CA) and Ken Buck (R-CO) introduced legislation on Monday that would establish a 20-person commission to study ways to “mitigate the risks and possible harms” of AI while “protecting” America's position as a global technology power.

The bill would require the Executive branch to appoint experts from throughout government, academia and industry to conduct the study over the course of two years, producing three reports during that period. The president would appoint eight members of the committee, while Congress, in an effort "to ensure bipartisanship," would split the remaining 12 positions evenly between the two parties (thereby ensuring the entire process devolves into a partisan circus).

"[Generative AI] can be disruptive to society, from the arts to medicine to architecture to so many different fields, and it could also potentially harm us and that's why I think we need to take a somewhat different approach,” Lieu told the Washington Post. He views the commission as a way to give lawmakers — the same folks routinely befuddled by TikTok — a bit of "breathing room" in understanding how the cutting-edge technology functions.

Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI) plans to introduce the bill's upper house counterpart, Lieu's team told WaPo, though no timeline for that happening was provided. Lieu also noted that Congress as a whole would do well to avoid trying to pass major legislation on the subject until the commission has had its time. “I just think we need some experts to inform us and just have a little bit of time pass before we put something massive into law,” Lieu said.

Of course, that would then push the passage any sort of meaningful Congressional regulation on generative AI out to 2027, at the very earliest, rather than right now, when we actually need it. Given how rapidly both the technology and the use cases for it have evolved in just the last six months, this study will have its work cut out just keeping pace with the changes, much less convincing the octogenarians running our nation of the potential dangers AI poses to our democracy.

How about we focus on fixing 'Democracy' such that it's actually 'representative' and making sure folks can like...eat and keep a roof over-head. -- Bitcoin fixes this.

This is an interesting question/thought -- Difficult to predict; I don't think Satoshi could have predicted the whole-cloth dive into cultural absurdity. To illustrate I thought experiment this --- Kurt Cobain --- if one had told Kurt in March of 1994...that 'flat earth' would be a thing and that 'roe v wade' would be over-turned ---he'd absolutely would not have believed. --- The whole red hat /orange bloated liar becoming revered would have totally taken him by surprise I think. --- SO... I suppose I'm agreeing with you here. -- ha!

Facts on both counts --- 'higher vibes' w/ Bitcoin & Music -- Let's get it!
