Great conjugation!
Good post.
I guess for those of us with a bit of knowledge, best to just compile any mission critical (wallet) software yourself.
Though, to get reliably reproducible builds would be great.
Say it ain't so...
> Because Ethereum developers realize the expansive and permanent power of AUTH instructions to the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), they have decided to limit the EOAs to which users may delegate their assets. Specifically, they have proposed limiting EOAs to a whitelist maintained by pre-approved wallet providers like MetaMask.

GM. Mining is centralized and block template generation is almost 50% done by one entity (educated guess) and possibly thanks to nostr:npub1qtvl2em0llpnnllffhat8zltugwwz97x79gfmxfz4qk52n6zpk3qq87dze it hasn’t taken completely over 50%. We need more Ocean clones with transparent block template creation. And we need to price OOB tx out.
And Stratum V2 !!
BTC part interesting but as for ETH:
I actually attack the concept of happiness. The idea that—I don’t mind people being happy—but the idea that everything we do is part of the pursuit of happiness seems to me a really dangerous idea and has led to a contemporary disease in Western society, which is fear of sadness. It’s a really odd thing that we’re now seeing people saying “write down three things that made you happy today before you go to sleep” and “cheer up” and “happiness is our birthright” and so on. We’re kind of teaching our kids that happiness is the default position. It’s rubbish. Wholeness is what we ought to be striving for and part of that is sadness, disappointment, frustration, failure; all of those things which make us who we are. Happiness and victory and fulfillment are nice little things that also happen to us, but they don’t teach us much. Everyone says we grow through pain and then as soon as they experience pain they say, “Quick! Move on! Cheer up!” I’d like just for a year to have a moratorium on the word “happiness” and to replace it with the word “wholeness.” Ask yourself, “Is this contributing to my wholeness?” and if you’re having a bad day, it is. ~Hugh Mackay

If you live in a city, you are guaranteed to have trace amounts of dog excrement and hobo urine on the bottoms of your shoes.
Staying away from the hookers and the blow is always a good start to not getting robbed and/or killed.
The food is amazing. Great music scene. People are actually really friendly if you stay away from gang business.
