Often people get stuck in their own head whether it’s from learned behaviours, past experiences, fear of some sort, etc. But what happens when people start to speak their truth, to get clarification, to do some work on themselves after self reflection? The possibilities are endless. We all have the ability to explore and to become the best versions of ourselves.
A table prepared for a beautiful evening where family will reminisce and celebrate an honoural woman. It’s interesting to appreciate the setup before the gathering. As my dad says, there’s nothing more important than family and I stand by that 100%!! ❤️❤️

I’m a firm believer that one should always express their appreciation both towards others as well as reflect internally. One does not need to search too far to find things or acts of kindness to be grateful for.
Tonight I’m grateful to have a little slice of paradise in the backyard with a bonfire sitting on our new chairs that weren’t only purchased today but also assembled immediately so they could be enjoyed from day one.
Companionship is everything!!

The sweetest things in life are often the simplest. Beauty surrounds us everywhere. How often do people take deep breaths to smell the delightful aroma of fresh lilacs? How often do people observe vibrant yellow dandelions and see them more than “weeds?” Handpicked bouquets of flowers are definitely a treasured favourite of mine!!

Waking up inside a cozy cabin in what feels like an enchanted forest with the birds singing and the sun poking through the beautiful trees is a glorious way to start the day!!
2024 marks my first year of gardening. In the past few months, I have learned how to sow seeds, create seedlings, how to grow eyes on potatoes, plant directly into the garden, the beginning to weeding and little things in between. A week or so ago I started planting peas, onions, potatoes, carrots and beans in the garden. Yesterday I started to see things starting to sprout. It’s been such an exciting skill to learn!

Yesterday I had the privilege of picking up 1/2 a farm fresh pig. When I say privilege I mean that I recognize that I am one of the fortunate ones to be able to buy in bulk to save $$ overall but also to have quality pork coming from a local farmer without any middle man. It feels amazing to support local. One day I hope to be able to compensate these farmers through Bitcoin.
There’s something to be said about the tranquility of having a lake view while listening to the sounds of nature; birds chirping, chipmunks scurrying around, etc. It brings about a sense of peace that cannot be matched. I’m so grateful & blessed!
