I love these cotton candy skies!! Something I like to do at the end of the day is to think of one thing I’m grateful for. Today it’s the sight of the sweet smiles on my niece and nephew’s faces!! Today they are “kids” but soon they will be young adults.. time is precious so today I savour the time they want to hang out with “auntie.”

It was a beautiful early afternoon on the driving range!! My 11 year old nephew who can easily drive 150 yards gave me some lessons. He told me to bend my knees, breathe and focus. I ended up being able to hit the ball 125 yards… Happy Gilmore has got nothing on me! 😎🤣 My niece was able to make it 100 yards give or take. What matters most is being able to spend this time together and fortunate enough to be able to do it enjoying the outdoors!

This year we watched a drone performance in lieu of fireworks! It was neat but didn’t have the same nostalgic feel. Luckily from the same place we were able to take in different firework shows!
