I took the leap and bought Bitcoin when I thought it was “high” then hesitated to buy more when it was even higher than where I started but then I got into the mindset that buying more despite the price is always a good idea and to not get fixated on the purchasing price. I’ve caught my share of large walleye and a few nice lake trout. The majority of the walleye I have caught are typically during the summer months or opening weekend on May 2-4. Luckily I still get out fishing but not at all like I used to.

Snowmobiling is a passion of mine as well. I haven’t been able to trail ride in quite some time. I used to live in a small town where we could take off from our backyards or drive down a couple of streets and cross a few places to hit the trails. I had a group of friends I used to go trail riding with and I absolutely loved it especially in fresh powder. Living in a city makes that tough especially when I don’t have a circle of local friends that partake in loving the outdoors as much as I do. I hope to expand my circle who share the same passions from fishing to hunting and snowmobiling and even going out for a quad ride.

Definitely stick close to your buddy. Good friends are hard to come by especially those who share similar interests. 😊

I’m used to good fishing as well. Sadly many classic lakes have been depleted in walleye. Not many people devote anytime to restocking the lakes which really is a shame.

I’ve been to some lakes that hit hard on just raps themselves too. Others that do well are the rattling googly eye jigs (likely something new for you to look into) and of course spinners.

I’ve been to amazing lakes with the monster walleyes in them and have limited out in no time at all. It’s such a rush. What makes it even better is seeing the kids excitement when bringing in a fish all on their own; in my case my niece and nephew but hope to be able to experience this first hand one day.

I sure hope you get out hunting and fishing with your buddy! 😊 I didn’t get out fishing much this summer or last summer but hoping for that to change next year.

Do you enjoy ice fishing too? Walleye are great to catch any time of year but lake trout ice fishing is pretty fun!

Omg I absolutely love fishing! Being out on the water in itself is so calming and relaxing. My favourite is to troll along in a boat and slay the walleye. I love to catch fish but even if they aren’t biting being out there is a blessing in itself.

Absolutely!! My niece got her first deer with the crossbow all by herself. She lined it up, selected which line in the scope to use and pulled the trigger. It was surreal to be included in that memory. There’s nothing quite like it!

Yes ghee or butter is the best… perhaps even bacon fat! 😍 The heart is still intact. One side is all smooth and you can see the entry although the exit did more damage on the other side but it’s still in fantastic shape. We saved it to eat today! I had the pics loaded to post but some may not appreciate seeing the blood! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Patience is necessary however who can say no to being in nature soaking up the sunshine, fresh air and listening to nature sounds seeing all of nature’s beauty?! It’s serene and peaceful out here. The anticipation of a deer coming in is exciting especially knowing the end result in venison in the freezer to feed you and your family with truly organic meat. Be it deer, moose, partridge, bear or whatever your meat of choice is, it’s a skill and joy. Try it once and I’m sure you’ll be hooked! Even if unsuccessful, the time out in the woods is so rejuvenating and relaxing for the soul which is still a win in my books! ☺️
