By the way, the clown is talking about blockchain patents affecting #nostr, π«£
Such an expert.
#[0] , I have had to leave the Nostr and Amethyst Users Public Channels, because the constant stream of posts on both channels was making the app lagging too much.
Am option to disable automatic updates to (some) Public Channels (as well as notifications of new messages) could be very useful.
Thanks for your work!!

Anybody can claim the name they fancy as many times as they want.
Only keypairs (pubkey+privkey) are unique.
Yes.
Your Phoenix invoice has an expiration date, yes.
A LN Address or a LNURL are ways to ask a LN wallet to generate new invoices whenever they are needed.
Are the "nuts" some of those "os"??

Sending events.
The original point was that with bolt11 invoices I can send and receive in non-custodial way without needing to run my LN node.
And I can't do that with LNURL, at least the receiving part.
Running a LN node in a dedicated server is no trivial.
It won't scale to every user.

Define "should", please.
- Sending to LNURL it's quite common.
- Receiving to LNURL requires custodial wallets, afaik.
PS: bolt12, where are you?? π

PSA: When a Cashu mobile app integrated with #nostr Contact List??

What is "verified identities"?
NIP-05 aliases?
Bolt11 invoices are compatible with every
LN wallet.
Zaps requires #nostr client support and/or LNURL support.
Am I right?
Nothing wrong skipping the NIP-05 DNS alias.

Does Damus do that?
Does it try to push old events (DMs or even kind1) to relays that don't have them?
