Am option to disable automatic updates to (some) Public Channels (as well as notifications of new messages) could be very useful.

The original point was that with bolt11 invoices I can send and receive in non-custodial way without needing to run my LN node.
And I can't do that with LNURL, at least the receiving part.
Running a LN node in a dedicated server is no trivial.
It won't scale to every user.
