Well, your identity is an important thing to be able to keep private, imo.

I still agree with you on your point, though:

Long posts on kind-1 could still be useful and properly managed on nostr social clients.

But find exciting that NIP-23 allows to publish 'blog posts' on nostr to be shown in longer content specific apps or webs.

A new Amethyst version is coming that allows to change the amount of satoshis to zap.

That can only be achieved in a centralised service.

In nostr the keypair (public and private keys) is the only guaranteed unique identifier.

Kind-3 is supposed to be used just for the Contact List:

Although it's used also for Relay List by some clients right now.

That it's causing some problems with relays or contacts 'disappearing' when a user change between clients, as some are publishing the kind-3 'too soon'.
