Sorry, but that was the average in the preindustrial society.
And I think it's not a good idea going back to those times.

That's exactly the question.
But IANAL either... 🤷
But breaking some Terms of Service is not the same as breaking a law, right?
🤔
Ok, not exactly "fair play", but nothing illegal, right?
How a 20 phone click farm server is made. Racks of these are operated by a single person.

Any idea why are they considered fraud?
Do they break some existing law?
🤔
They say "AI can't fool AI".
Don't know if it's true, though.

Cheers, mate. 🙄

It depends on the app you are using.
Months ago every nostr app was using NIP-04. But since then the new and improved NIP-44 has been developed, and some apps (as Amethyst and 0xChat at least) are using it.
I don't know the detail of which DM NIP is using every app, tbh.

Sorry, it seems a bit more complicated that what I was describing, as checking right now in Amethyst, it mentioned a NIP-24 message?
I hope nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z can cast some light here... 🙄

It's childish because they are "complying" with EU rules but in such a way that they are risking to anger the EU regulators, and therefore be investigated more and more.
The most intelligent way to act would be to get on well with the regulators, even if they don't agree with the imposed rules, as they have more to lose than to win.
Imho.
Apple’s going to allow sideloading of apps on to iOS but with lots of limitations.
The app developer has to be in the EU, the user has to be in the EU, they’ve got to have been an apple app developer for over 2 years, and to have over a million installs of your app. Plus a ton of other requirements…. This is the definition of malicious compliance: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malicious_compliance

It is indeed.
They really are acting childish...
It's increasingly clear that Apple just looks after Apple's interests.
But precisely using NFC avoids the need for USB, if I understand it properly.
