Why do we even need exchanges to buy bitcoin? Aren’t they kind of acting as a middleman taking fees?
Would it not be better or possible to buy straight from a miner and cut out the middleman?

Exactly! Real estate definitely isn’t what it used to be. I certainly have respect for anyone in the real estate game in this era.

It’s nice to be able to pick and choose who you do business with.
My whole family has been, and some still are in the real estate game, I was all for it when I was younger, but very glad I never started into that venture.
After seeing all the bullshit my parents, uncle and grandparents went through dealing with tennants, it changed my mind pretty quick.
My wife and I are very selective about the work we take on for our landscaping business.
I’m selective with the type of work and she’s selective with the people.
Works out great most of the time, but sometimes there’s a job I really wouldn’t mind doing but after dealing with the client, she says no.
She is usually much better at spotting the red flags than I am.

I do in my business, but that debt makes me more money.
Regardless of whether or not it makes me more money, I need to take on debt in order to complete jobs more efficiently. I will always take on debt in our business as long as it makes sense.

The only debt we have is our mortgage and that will hopefully be completely paid for this time next year at renewal time.
