I was tagged in list a while back. let me see if I can find it.
I haven't looked at shopstr in a while but ooo they have some new features ๐คฉ might be time for me to try it out again!
we had a very fun Easter. taro was incredibly handsome with his button up shirt, suspenders, bow tie and slacks. I got one very cute photo of me and him which is a rarity.
he found some eggs in the Easter egg hunt. he was the youngest so he got to kick things off at the head of the pack.
he had a no nap day and passed out when we got home at 6:30. when he woke up at 9, he was starving and we fed him until he fell asleep in his chair ๐
may the river bring him exactly what he needs!

I don't know if I know enough about coding at all to be able to do that even ๐ซค
same. even if the donut I want is out by the time I get to the front. there are so many other donuts to choose from!
if I were ever to take on a programming project for nostr, it'd definitely be a crafty database where people can keep track of their projects and look up what others have made. Much like another popular website that already exists, iykyk.
But alas, my skills as a programmer start and end with html markup tags.
Not a bad reason to learn how to program though. I have the BA skills, I just need to learn the technical stuff.
gotta BYOC* to get the full experience though ๐

this is why I don't mind standing in line at the local donut shop. it really feels like community.
yes! crab stitch edging is my favorite. so easy to do and looks good.
the border on this blanket is taking for ev er ๐ฎโ๐จ
I wanna finish already so I can get started on the cardigans for the babies.
I decided I'm gonna make the Baby Surprise Jacket. I made one when I was pregnant with taro but the size came out too big and it'd be the height of summer when it was the right size so I gifted it to a friend.

market value? not nearly as much as the work that goes into it.
People who buy handspun yarn aren't that interested in undyed, "plain" yarn. They would rather buy art yarn that is highly stylistic and requires a lot of skill to create. At the very least you have to dye the fleece or the yarn in an artistic way to elevate it.
If you want to keep it natural and undyed, you could make it into a finished product. There's a decent market of people who like buying from someone who had their hand in the whole supply chain.
that's my two cents. I've sold hand spun yarn and hand dyed yarn before in two different seasons of my life. The hand dyed yarn did much much better. I'd still be doing it if not for these babies I'm raising.
hope that helps!
at most 16 weeks. they won't let me go past 38 since it's twins.
