Most builds hinge on other designs that include upper receivers made out of metal. The barrel, and bolt need to be metal at a minimum.

I like Pokemon TCG because it's the perfect example of complexity by simplicity. The rules are straightforward and clear. But makingf something that will do well against other matchups is very complex and the simple choices you make and order you make them in, in any given turn can mean the game.
I wish I had time to play the TCG again. ugh it's so fun and these cards look so good 😭

Do you know what processor it has? It can likely be upgraded to 16g ram, it can definitely use a new SSD if you want, I don't know about a 2nd option. It might have an m.2 you can use. Learning more about the motherboard will help you in both of these aspects. The charger thing I'm unsure of but I sounds more like a normal hardware things a d not a problem.
Fedora is okay. I'd opt for another distro personally.
