I quit tonight when I felt three mosquitoes bite my back through my shirt at the same time. Also the sun set and I couldn't see well anymore.
It's a lil bit dry here 
On the bright side, these deep cracks make a great place for mulch, biochar and other organic detritus to integrate deeper into the soil profile. Lemons make lemonade and all that.

I was using my walkers for a bit a couple months ago but it's easy to forget they're there. The bulbils are crazy potent too.

I'm down in Ohio, the ones along my road looked like they were about to have a second round, but the rain stopped 2 weeks ago and we've been over 90 for the better part of the last two weeks. I think the whites will ripen later. Might have to go cruising to find some.
I'm going publication order this time. My first time through was in no particular order. I know I read chronological once or twice, but it's been 15 years at least.
I wanted to do Mulberry wine this year, but it got hot and they dried up
Hard neck might be later, but I think I pulled my soft neck in early July last year and I had waited too long, the papers had burst around the cloves. I've also heard of spring planting garlic, that may mature later?

I used to work for a remodeling company and we did a kitchen for a guy who was a beekeeper and amateur meadmaker. He brought out the bottle the day we wrapped up.
Now I wait.
