In your case, I would start with the things you like - Bitcoin and Nostr and look which programming languages are there to work with.

1. You can look for open source Bitcoin or LN mplementations and check what languages are used there. Then pick the project you want to contribute and learn the language as well as contribute to the open source project.

2. You can also build Nostr apps, focusing more on the frontent, since you have some interests into arts (photography, music, etc.), so design part can also be good in your case. I would go and ask around Nostr developers, which languages they use on a daily basis and then having a list decide which one to take.

When you have the exact languages, share a list of them and I am happy to help you pick the one and maybe guide you to the courses (like Udemy) that could be beneficial for you.

We don’t like feedback, mostly because when we do something we have a justification to why we did it that way, yet, if it doesn’t meet other’s expectations we get the feedback anyway.

At the same time, feedback is important and helps make things better in general.

Maybe feedback should just be internal? Meaning we and only we assess our performance… instead of getting feedback externally from people / or maybe just ignore external feedback? Feels wrong though.

If that’s the case, this really means that we need to have metrics, and time set aside to assess our performance, which is not always available or easy.

#1 deterrent to bitcoin adoption is having no knowledge of money. Bitcoin looks stupid & insane to a mind that believes money is debt backed paper created out of thin air by a stranger in a private bank. It highlights a major problem, and cognitive dissonance wins the battle

It begs the question, is bitcoin a “lead by example” technology and lesson? Is there any point in “marketing” or public outreach. I get the feeling that unless you’ve got a business model and are mining fiat, teaching people about bitcoin should have a paywall, otherwise it’s an enormous waste of time, because 9/10 they’re likely not mentally available for it.
