I'm a hard core East Coast (USA) skier. I'm happy for Mammoth mountain (season extended to August 6), but very, very jealous

Welcome to nostr. I'm nowhere near Turkey (and not much of a coffee person), but glad to have you join us!!! Make sure to search on hashtags from time to time to look for more folks to follow.

2007-2008 Nismo 350Z

The Nismo 350Z is a high-performance variant of the iconic Nissan 350Z sports car. Developed by Nissan's in-house performance division, Nismo, the Nismo 350Z takes the already impressive 350Z and enhances its performance, handling, and aesthetics. With its rich heritage and formidable specifications, the Nismo 350Z has become a favorite among sports car enthusiasts worldwide.

Nissan introduced the 350Z in 2002 as a successor to the popular 300ZX. The Nismo version of the 350Z debuted in 2007, following the successful launch of other Nismo-tuned vehicles such as the Skyline GT-R and the Fairlady Z. The Nismo 350Z was produced in limited numbers, making it a highly sought-after collector's item for automotive enthusiasts. The exact production figures vary by region, but it is estimated that around 1,607 units of the Nismo 350Z were produced worldwide.

Under the hood, the Nismo 350Z is powered by a robust 3.5-liter V6 engine. The powerplant is fitted with an intercooled supercharger, delivering an impressive output of approximately 306 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. This power is transferred to the rear wheels through a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission, providing a thrilling driving experience. The Nismo 350Z features a sport-tuned suspension system, larger brakes, and a limited-slip differential, enhancing its agility, handling, and overall performance on both road and track.

The Nismo 350Z boasts a distinctive exterior design that sets it apart from the standard 350Z. It features aggressive aerodynamic enhancements, including a redesigned front fascia with a larger grille and integrated fog lights, side skirts, a rear spoiler, and a functional rear diffuser. These aerodynamic modifications not only improve the car's visual appeal but also enhance its high-speed stability and reduce lift, allowing for better handling and performance.

The Nismo 350Z holds a special place in Nissan's performance heritage, representing the brand's commitment to delivering exhilarating driving experiences. Its limited production numbers and exclusive performance upgrades have made it a highly coveted vehicle among automotive enthusiasts and collectors alike. The Nismo 350Z has also served as a foundation for subsequent performance models in Nissan's lineup, influencing the development of future Nismo-tuned vehicles.

The Nismo 350Z remains an iconic sports car that exemplifies Nissan's dedication to performance and precision engineering. Its powerful engine, enhanced aerodynamics, and limited production numbers make it a rare and sought-after vehicle. Whether it's carving through corners on the track or turning heads on the street, the Nismo 350Z continues to captivate enthusiasts with its raw power and distinctive styling, leaving a mark in the history of JDM cars. #cars #carstr #carchain #carporn #grownostr

I used to own a 280 ZX. It was a 1983, turbocharged with T-Tops. Man that was fun! Thanks for reminding me...

Many years ago. Definitely a classic. I found this review interesting...

Just read an Atlas Society email (Juneteenth related) that reminded me about their Frederick Douglass video - https://www.atlassociety.org/video/my-name-is-frederick-douglass#Video. Well worth a watch.

Great to hear you are running Iris on your own Start9 server.

I've been doing that myself for a while now and love it - and my own private relay.

If you aren't running your own relay on your Start9 server, perhaps consider that too. It's a bit limited at the moment (need to either be local or access via TOR), but nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll team is working on improved networking now.

1995-1998 McLaren F1 GTR

The McLaren F1 GTR is a sports car that was developed by the British manufacturer McLaren Automotive in 1995. The car was built for racing and was based on the highly successful McLaren F1 road car.

The F1 GTR was designed to compete in GT1 class racing, which was one of the most competitive classes at the time. The car was powered by an BMW S70/2 V12 engine, which was modified to produce more power than the standard road car engine.

The McLaren F1 GTR had an impressive racing history, winning numerous races and championships throughout its career. One of the most notable victories was at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995, where the F1 GTR finished first, third, fourth, fifth and thirteenth overall, and won the GT1 class. The winning car was driven by JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya. The F1 GTR also won the BPR Global GT Series Championship in 1995 and 1996, and the FIA GT Championship in 1997.

The McLaren F1 GTR was known for its exceptional technical specs and performance. The car had a top speed of around 240 mph and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. It weighed only 900 kg and featured a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, which made it incredibly light and agile. The suspension was also highly advanced, featuring double wishbones with pushrod-actuated coil springs and dampers, which provided excellent handling and responsiveness.

The McLaren F1 GTR was driven by some of the most talented drivers in motorsport history. Some of the most notable names include JJ Lehto, who was instrumental in the car's success at Le Mans, as well as Andy Wallace, Derek Bell, and Johnny Herbert. These drivers helped to cement the F1 GTR's place in racing history and its reputation as one of the most iconic racing cars of all time. #cars #carstr #racing #racingcars #ClassicCar

I’m not a big car racing fan and much of your technical details go over my head, but I do enjoy your posts. Especially the pictures. Very cool cars - and great to learn just a bit more about them!! I love seeing all the non-bitcoin content here.

Liberty and laughter: Libertarian Futurist Society Special Award winners - showing a sense of humor.

A number of the folks I know on nostr came here through The Survival Podcast. One of our community members - Jenni Hill is fighting cancer. Some folks put together a fundraiser. I'm donating, and I hope you will consider donating too:

I'm a big fan of FOSS. I'm no longer a hard core coder, but I can still participate and help out. I just entered a start9 marketplace issue. https://github.com/Start9Labs/start-os/issues/2305

#grownostr #start9 #startos #foss #marketplace

It is technically possible to do a reverse TOR proxy (or something like that) to make #start9 clear net compatible. BUT it is not easy, not supported, etc.

The next major release is supposed to make it significantly easier to access #startos servers from #clearnet

#[4] - Here's another person joining the queue waiting for your 0.40 release.

Congratulations on getting your #start9 pages site working.

Except for having to open in m y TOR browser instead of just clicking the link it worked for me :) Lorem Ipsum is great.

Nostr can be a bit frustrating. There are not really any groups / channels implemented. And relays tend to be very general- not topic specific either.

The best I've found is to follow people that that are posting interesting content. Finding them can be a bit challenging.

I find new folks to follow when I see them on a post / comment / mention from someone I already follow. That works, but is somewhat slower way to grow the network.

I also search for hashtags of interest. #grownostr is a great one to use for a wider variety of posts, but you can try #business #woodworking and see what you get.

From time to time, I also scroll through the 'global' feed for topics and hash tags of interest.

Hope this helps you find more posts of interest to you!!!
