I've messed with all three but I've mainly been taking mine straight out of the camera or adjusting the light and contrast a bit. I slap on filters and never really like them so I just go with what I shot. Using the Canon post processing software I can switch them back and forth from black and white to color.

You'd be a better judge than me, I wasn't there. I've dealt with some real idiots in a few DMVs. I can confirm my Social Security card is laminated and I used a birth certificate from the Jeff County health department.
