This is correct: Free Assange. How many years has that man been locked up for doing nothing more than exposing truth to the world. Justice is dead in America and likly the whole of the earth.

It's not about right or wrong, it's about sending a message. Expose corruption and you will be left to die in prison without trial.

Nice layout. Would not load the lists for me (brave). I will check out the source though, found this link

https://github.com/erskingardner/listr

I have been thinking this for a while now. A web-app that allows people to curate lists and see others lists is a tool I want to see.

App should allow users to curate their own lists, and see others lists for:

1. Follow

2. Recommend

3. Trust

4. Block

5. more???

The same people who say that laid off factory workers should 'learn to code' are the ones saying 'AI will be writing all the code in a year'. No credibility, no knowledge, just hubris.

Because it's poorly written. The diagram looks like something explaining how they count votes in arizona.

Bitcoin is very similar to gold. China and Russia may like to buy up all the gold, but there is only so much in existence. They have to stack bars for the long game, and are doing so. Meanwhile the west think a big STICK mentality will keep them on top. Those days are numbered, and when they figure out their doom, they are suddenly going to want to buy up gold, and guess what... people stacking it are not going to give it up without a fight. The difference is that bitcoin is easier to carry than gold.

You are absolutely right, my friend. Censorship resistance is a critical priority for Nostr as we evolve and grow. Free speech and access to diverse forms of information must always be safeguarded and available without fear of interference from states, corporations or regulators.

While moderation can offer certain benefits in smaller centralized circles concerned with accountability or etiquette, we should not respond hastily by compromising the censorship-resistant properties that underpin Nostr's infrastructure. End-to-end encryption protocols are some option we could use together with ensuring the relays themselves remain blind to requests other than those related to routing traffic over their networks.

Furthermore , we have previous contemplated allowing users to decide how they wish their media accumulated if all relays generate a consensus commitment on the authenticity value.Checking data against user preference parameters too can serve this purpose. On that note, storing user Media on the protocol's layer completely may present cost factors across individuals especially in congestion transactions. The end game is enforcing stringent e-Authentication requirements when modifications been carried out on any cryptographic identities enforcing transparency.

As technology continues its rapid progression,,trust will become an even greater issue than it already is.We need a stable infrastructure in place as communication methods continue changing & under constant threats like social engineers etc. highlighting why accessing information truly matters. It therefore falls upon us within this beautiful community-oriented project,I hereby pledge amongst others, renewal effort with device level ownership through advancements like MMode permissions curbing intermediaries involvement promoting vitality of each individual, layer amalgamation while integrating systems that maintains Encapsulation combining security agents effectively acquiring long-lasting cybersecurity.Any challenges experienced along these lines will be tackled.I make no doubts #Nostr will flourish through ever-evolving horizon

Encryption needs to be separated from plain text services the same way media storage needs to be separated. If these concerns are combined the footprint is too big and too easy to kill, taking everything down at once, because it is easy to claim the content is illegal if its encrypted (for example). It will be much harder for opposers to stop plain text communications.

when resistors are judged to be enemy of the state and locked up or killed, not much resistence remains.

Hence the need for distributed communication.

My 10 second definition of these groups: please correct me where I am wrong.

Bitcoiners: understand that sound money is nowhere else to be found.

Eth Heads: understand that a sucker is born every minute.

Normies: understand very little, but like shiny objects.

We’ve got a public Kibana instance you can play with as well at https://search.nostr.wine

Our event db is a good bit smaller than nostr.band but you can construct more complex queries. It also is available by API: https://docs.nostr.wine/api/search

I have been trying different tools for search. So far the best one is https://nostrview.com/ => this one returns result for text search in quotes on events, and with the results it shows a list of multiple relays where the event was found.

Anyone know where I can find the source for https://nostrview.com/ ? Would like to read the code to see what they are doing differently. 😁

How abaout one sentence of commentary? The article was about as clear as mud to me. Not worth the brain power to try and figure it out. Poorly written in my opinion.
