On Blockcore Notes (which I develop), you can organize your following into Circles and click on Circles to view feed filtered for only those people in the specific circle.
Zapping and Zaps directly on notes has been added to Blockcore Notes! Thanks to Jamal for GitHub contributions!

Stuck doing a fiat-job until debt free, then I can focus more time building Liberstad (free private city project in Norway). Doing so much and working most wake hours, but loving it. Building decentralised software and systems for free societies.
Yes. This is home. ❤️🤙
We're waiting Dan, please share! 🤙
Been relaxing a bit for the last week so gotten less done on Blockcore Notes. Will get back at it after Thursday, as I'm doing an Web5 and Nostr presentation at a software developer conference in Kristiansand, Norway. 🤙
Badges has now been added to Blockcore Notes. Please let me know if you have any feedback. Remember: The developers of Blockcore Notes have zero insight in how many are using Notes, we don't know what features you are using, or anything. There are no logs, no tracing, so the only knowledge of usage is the feedback any of you willingly give. Thanks for enjoying Notes!
Have a look at the new badges editor in Blockcore Notes, it's one of the many new features added to the Nostr client. Please keep the feedback coming, got limited energy available but focuses mostly on what I need myself or that others want.
You can create badges, view badges, issue badges and displaying badges on profiles is a work-in-progress right now. Enjoy!

With this suggestion of mine, the underlaying storage can be any infrastructure. It can support redirect for regular web hosting (which I think is an absolute requirement for adoption), but it can also do IPFS or anything else really. And the good thing, it allows individual users to migrate their storage when they need to, without destroying all historical events published on Nostr.
A dialog appears for each signing operation and if you save password, it can be unlocked with biometrics on device.
History tells us that the smaller states end up as the biggest. If you’re good at something, which a smaller and more agile team is compared to a large one held back by massive regulations, then you win the “race”. The problem is which kind of rules the game is rigged with, where governments (states) are not the same as a free enterprise or company.
My own view on this, anyone can keep their state if they want, as long as it doesn’t require compulsory participation. Allowing people to opt-out of any state shouldn’t be controversial or a major issue, as this will likely only be interesting to a minor group in society. And these freer communities will be part of your “checks and balances”.
Zapping on Blockcore Notes! Will add additional zapping actions directly on posts soon.

Basically zero-cost pseudo-decentralized images with WebTorrent and WebSeeds: https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1653275/222025570-6f893106-9c35-4862-bea6-10e518c91b92.mp4
It's a great solution, I also think there is room for a NIP that includes the ability of a key owner to update media locations in the future, e.g. if you move from one server to another. To reduce the link length, it should be path-based and not rely on hashes. It would require a new event that contains path-mappings for an identity and I could have many, sending content to different servers.
Example image link:
"nostr:media:17e2889fba01021d048a13fd0ba108ad31c38326295460c21e69c43fa8fbe515/home/memes/onehourlater.gif"
"nostr:media:17e2889fba01021d048a13fd0ba108ad31c38326295460c21e69c43fa8fbe515/work/memes/onehourlater.gif"
If a link to video/image starts with "nostr:media", then retrieve kind X of the pubkey, which can have multiple different route-mappings that replaces the root (or other parts) of the path.
"home" could map to mypersonaldomain dot com, while "work" coupld map to myworkdomain dot com slash images.
Very good! Thanks for writing and sharing.
Can I ask which client you used to write this note? I'm working on Blockcore Notes and I'm debugging some issue with the tagging of users, I get some extra bytes after each of them. Would help me debug the issue if I could have a look at the source for the client you're using. Enjoy the ski summit!
I hope you are successful in your journey to convince enough people to join. I think it's possible, a lot of people are just waiting for the right projects and opportunities. ❤️
Blockcore Notes allows import of private key, stored encrypted with a personal password (protected by Keychain), but the key itself is not in the keychain (username is the npub). There are also two ways to handle actions using the key, right now the user need to unlock the key for every single signing. I don't know if I should implement support for "autosign for 10 minutes" or something allowing users to not use password for each signing.
Nostr Connect and NIP-26 support will arrive soon too, then I think all bases are covered? Public Key, Private Key (hex and nsec, import with copy/paste or QR code scanning), Secret Recovery Phrase (mnemonic to private key), Extension (NIP-07). I'm looking forward to doing NIP-26 support.
That is probably correct, I'm part of a few groups left, like the motorcycle group, whenever I post a photo I get hundreds of reactions. It's kind of sad, because groups are not your social networks. Most groups I share with very few actual friends.
I have more than 1000 "Friends" on Facebook. I just posted two important links with some thoughts of mine. I have after 45 minutes, zero reactions on either post. I think that says something, either about the algorithm, my "friends" or what I believe to be the factual issue: Everybody has stopped using Facebook.
