Watched 28 years later (2025), a zombie horror movie directed by Danny Boyle.In quarantined post apocalyptic UK, a young boy travels to the infected mainland to find a doctor for his sick mother. He discovers mutated zombies and human cults. I really wanted to enjoy this film. From a legendary director. The story was bland. Very boring compared to 28 days later. The mutated zombies were very interesting but this seemed like a low quality zombie movie. Boyle is capable of much better. The twist in the story wasn’t even one. Very predictable. The movie even sets up for a sequel (another cash grab). 5/10
