I could not find so far any. It is a walled garden, as I read about it. So hard to get into the "game".

I think phone lines are not encrypted or?
In person is a good idea.
Thanks nostr:npub16jad3sjdf0hynxhmpzpsuuwazqlxrcq824kjpw3w7wr8ldt3xm0q0zq4nn I also think a great question already have half of the answer, so we have to learn to ask better questions to improve.
I think there can be also a general openness to try new things or not. Or a general closedness "I don't want to have an n-th app".
It's also hard.
Because if you want to live a more private life e.g., you have 2 choice:
- use the bad tools your friends use,
- somehow guide them to use more secure and private apps
I mean if you want to interact with them, you have to meet somewhere. In the app they use, or in the app you use.
I guess individually understanding people's situation could help to see, where these solutions can enhance their lives.
Something smart about factor 3. Mentioning gently factor 4.
"Some smart quote"
Closing with a summary.
😂😂
Could be also time preference. They reached a different phase in life, where they have to concentrate on a different part of life.
My friends were definitely different. But it could also happen due to age. Everyone age differently.
Shouldn't it be a step by step revolution?
When you learn to write, you learn the letters first, then to write them together.
Maybe we need phases. Not to expect too much at the beginning.
I think it was different when smart phones were the new thing. People seemed to be more open.
Can it be because we are constantly bombarded with ads, that we developed in the last 10 years, your mentioned things but as a defence mechanism?
Or maybe because the general comfort is already so high?

When did downloading a new app become a big burden/big friction?
Somehow I feel in my circles, that people are less open to tinker with new application, at least compared to previous times.
Maybe this is because of the overwhelming amount of shitty apps?

If benefits do not exceed/overweigh costs, it will get a NO!
So to make people want to try/use something new, you have to create big reasons or lower the bar to entry.
I think #bitcoin and #nostr has not enough benefits and have too much costs for the masses.
I think we are getting there, so keep up the good work and build, build, build.

I am not sure if you got scammed or not.
But sounds unsustainable to provide free services forever.
