Seemingly then communicating with companies through encrypted attachments are not working.
Or at least there are cases. Most probably because they can't scan the content of the attachment due to it being encrypted, so they just don't allow it.

How do you use PGP?
This is hilarious.
I wanted to send via email (this is how they expect), some sensitive information. So I added it via an encrypted zip file.
Then I got back an email, that it cannot be delivered, but please don't send sensitive data via unencrypted email.

1️⃣ Have a nostr email
2️⃣ When it receives an email, it checks if it is encrypted with PGP, if not it responds automatically, with an email explaining how to setup a browser extension to encrypt emails.

Goal:
Receive only encrypted emails.
Solution [In Progress]:
1️⃣ Have a nostr mail address.
2️⃣ If receives an email, it tests if it has a password protected zip file in it, and if the body is empty. If not, it responds back to the email, that it only accepts emails containing the content in an encrypted file.
3️⃣ Sender resends the email with a zip file encrypted with a shared key (how to share???)
4️⃣ Answer will also be sent through encrypted zip file.
This idea does not differ too much from proton's idea of sending the content through a weblink that is password protected.
There you also need to exchange a key beforehand. But a non-proton user cannot send info through protons solution to a proton user.
But anyone can easily create encrypted zip files. It is supported by other email clients.

Mailbox in a mailbox
This idea raises a problem. If a company sends you an email, and they get back an email, that they have to send it over the attached link, why would they do that? Why would they trust that link? Would you trust it?
So first things first is, to make the safe end-to-end encrypted channel creation more trustworthy. Do you disaggree?
Would it make a difference, if the link, looks like a profile with a contact button? And the whole flow of key generation bla-bla, starts there?

I want to spread encryption over email, and give the possibility to opt out of unencrypted mails, even if others need you to have an email, but they have no encryption.
