This reads weird. The #lightning transaction limit is denominated in fiat...
The news in itself is positive. But it shows how far from understanding #bitcoin some companies are.
Their communication should be adapted to the technology they're working on, not to some government token. It doesn't make sense.

Just discovered NWC. Better late than never!
It works! Zapped from Minibits in Amethyst, using NWC. Nice!
nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm entirely changed the game for being able to easily serve as an Uncle Jim for your family and close friends with Alby Hub.
In just a couple minutes, I set my daughter up with a lightning wallet hosted on my own node, with a lightning address provided by Alby, connected to nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 so she has access through a mobile app, and NWC connection to #Amethyst for zapping.
No need to set up reverse proxies... No need to deal with trying to connect via Tor on Zeus... No need to buy a domain and figure out how to get a lightning address up and running... It just works.
I just installed Start9. Will it be added, or do I need a dedicated device for Alby hub?
OMG, it's done already. I went to check the system monitor:

It took less than 48 hours 😲
Now, on to electrs.
I have a Dell 3070 with 32 GB of RAM. It could look like overkill, but I'm running StartOS.
The PWA notification on Start9 to install it on Android.

Launched 9 hours ago, and my new #bitcoin node is 41.82% synced 😲
I remember I needed days, maybe a week with my Raspberry Pi!
I may have found a way with Start9. As it was my favorite node software, I tried again.
After flashing, I installed it selecting my internal drive.
Then, I removed the USB drive, and did the initial setup. And I selected my external drive to store data.
Looks like I got what I wanted!
Save costs. I have the external hard drive I was using with my Raspberry Pi node.
I have a Dell 3070 micro.
Thanks for your input. It's too bad.
Seems like 2 drives should be the standard. Basically like on a Raspberry Pi. OS on a drive, apps or time chain on another.
