I know someone who gets upset when I look at them too much because they feel judged but they also get upset when I don’t look at them enough because they feel unnoticed. I am practicing glancing.

Got any description writing advice to share? My own would be not to describe everything in the scene. Only what’s necessary. There are some books I absolutely love but I do tend to skim through the overly descriptive parts. I just don’t have the energy.

I recently found out about a very famous writer who hasn’t written a book ages. What they write are synopses that are given to assistants trained to write in their style who do the actual writing. This is quite common apparently. I mean, I knew about ghost writing but thought it was for politicians and movie stars to write their memoirs or keys to success or whatever, but not famous writers. Surely not. #WritingCommunity
A little snowy here in Guelph. Luckily, our complex does the shoveling. Unluckily, they can’t keep up. Also, the road we are on is over a foot deep. #snow

I found the start slow and confusing but it eventually comes together. I’ve since forgotten most of it. Is it worth the effort? 🤷♀️
AI giving me a little pick-me-up
We had our first ice storm and I’m getting into the winter spirit by knitting a Flax sweater but Tin Can Knits (free pattern). I’m using their (free) app to do it. Recommend! It sorts out the stitch counts based on size and yarn weight. Only has a few patterns available currently but they seem to be updating regularly. Great idea for an app, imo. #knitting #textiles #TinCanKnits
