You left cut off the lno on the offer.

I got the same error from Phoenix Wallet on iOS.
I know the pain. I’ve had crappy cable internet the last 10+ years. Comcast, Spectrum, and Optimum. All terrible.
For the first time in my life I have symmetric internet bandwidth at home. Feels like a superpower to actually have 500+ Mbps upload. Game changing for self hosting.
*no better reason
First family workout in the new gym! Did leg day on a Monday with sprints outside. Inspired by nostr:nprofile1qqsywt6ypu57lxtwj2scdwxnyrl3sry9typcstje65x7rw9a2e5nq8spz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqz8mhwden5te0vf5hgcm0d9hx6ctcd9kkzmrfwd68xtn0dekxjmn9qy28wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytn00p68ytnyv4mqu0s8zt 's comment that most men won't sprint again after the age of 30ish
I can think of know better reason to sprint than to race my kids just for fun. I’ll be a proud dad when they can outrun me.
I’m always strangely amused by dollarydoos 😂
Same. It’ll be interesting to see what the community adopts. I wonder how small changes in incentives will impact the use of zaps.
If zaps move to ecash, I’ll run my own mint. One interesting aspect to this change is I’ll no longer have to pay fees to zap. Instead, those I zap will have to pay me fees to redeem their IOUs.
💯
IMO the issue isn’t ecash zaps. It’s how will nostr users identify trustworthy mints without everyone just consolidating to a small handful of custodial mints. We’ll come full circle.
I think about how easily I could spin up a mint backed by 0 Bitcoin and I get concerned.
And I personally regret not mixing more while I had the opportunity. I assumed wrongly I’d always be able to mix in the future.
I thought CLN had full support for bolt12. Seems like it doesn’t support blinded routes for offers best I can tell. Strange considering a main contributor to the CLN implementation is the author of bolt12.
I’m excited for bolt12 and the possibilities in store. I love using this freedom technology. I too want to help build out a better future enabled with bitcoin. I love your passion for privacy and helping others. You’re one of my favorite voices in the space.
You probably already know this, but LN implementations need improvements to provide real privacy gains for receiving sats. For example I can look at these 3 addresses and in seconds have a good guess about what node stack/implementations you’re using for each and even see UTXO history in same cases.
1) Phoenix Wallet bolt12
2) bolt12 CLN on startOS w/ an announced channel w/ visible on chain UTXO history.
3) BTCPay LNURL with LND? … maybe the same startOS server. Again with an announced channel w/ visible on chain history.
The config experimental-onion-messages maybe?
I think I figured out my bolt12 offer includes my node pubkey. Now I need to figure out if I can create an offer in CLN that includes a blinded path? Lots to learn.
This contradicts what I’m seeing.
Seems like my offer/invoice from CLN doesn’t include blinded routes?
nostr:npub1tr4dstaptd2sp98h7hlysp8qle6mw7wmauhfkgz3rmxdd8ndprusnw2y5g have you figured out if CLN has blinded routes by default for bolt12 offers/invoices?
When I pay a bolt12 from CLN using Phoenix wallet, I can see my CLN node pubkey in the Phoenix app.
What option is my CLN offer missing to make have better receiving privacy?
How come when I pay bolt12 offer in Phoenix from my CLN node that Phoenix knows my CLN node pubkey? I thought bolt12 had better receive privacy by default. #asknostr #bolt12
