Reflecting a bit while in traffic on my way to dinner in Mumbai…never have I been somewhere and witnessed so clearly a people who would benefit from Bitcoin. Without having looked at the numbers, I can only speculate that the Indian Rupee is a shitcoin and that there is massive currency debasement happening. This is illustrated meticulously by the stunning towers and new construction high rises, lined by throngs of the poor and homeless. The sight leaves you overwhelmed and a bit uncertain on what to think. What I do know is that I’m lucky; when I arrive home, I’ll hug my family and continue to stack sats.

Just applied to my dream job in Bitcoin, fingers crossed.

I had a sports coach who I specifically remember for all the little life lessons he had. Regarding priorities he would note the following.

1. Health

2. Family

3. Religion

4. Studies

5. Our sports team

1-3 were roughly interchangeable based on your personal situation and beliefs but they always came before 4 & 5.

This has been a lesson I’ve tried to take forward into my adult life and share with the employees who report to me at work.

Absolutely true! From a general SaaS business perspective, Coinbase is one of the worst. Over the years they have continually struggled and outright failed to solve the most basic micro service scaling problems. Their hiring initiatives have always been focused on hiring lower paid engineers to pump out half baked features. While I have nothing against those engineers, their technology platform is trash compared to where it should be after so many years. In hindsight, I’m sure that is all part of the plan.
