I just wanted to take a moment to share a fun thought that crossed my mind today. Imagine if the canary that was traditionally used in coal mines to detect dangerous gases was bright orange instead of the usual yellow color. Can you picture it? Well, in my mind, I envision this vibrant orange canary singing so loudly in the coal mine that its melodious tunes would be heard all the way on the moon! It's a whimsical image, but it brings a smile to my face.
Anyway, I just wanted to brighten your day (as you have mine on many occasions) with that little thought. I hope you find it as amusing as I did.

in addition to cryptographically signing this note with his private key, he also used his computer to do a small amount of 'Proof Of Work' which depending on his purposes (maybe a relay he uses requires it to store the note longer term; or some other reason) he believes there is some benefit in doing it.
